Use at least one SSD in your pc in which you can install your window, game and applications. And use a blue HDD for any other storage.

Every Hard drive has it's own buffer memory and RPM speed.
Here buffer memory is cache memory. If you get more buffer memory your PC boots very fast and when it's come to RPM the hard drive need it because to increase read and write speed. WD blue had 5200-7200 RPM with 8mb cache. WD gold had 10000 RPM with 128mb cache .
