Dam man this song kills me inside. My younger cousin at 18 died from a car accident. She just had her son. She loved this song so much. We even played it at her funeral. It has been over 5 years and i was in such a great mood after a good work out. I was in the grocery store getting groceries and i randomly hear this song. A man and his very young daughter were behind me and i asked him if he likes the song. He said he does but his daughter loves it. I told him it is a great song and walked away. As i was walking away tears came out. Im 29 and havent cried like that for years. Anyways im in my car writing this. I have sung this to my daughter since before she was born. When I was about 12 weeks pregnant, the doctor told me she was no longer with us, after about 15 minutes of crying and praying, he was finally able to find her heartbeat.....from that day on she was my "Angel Baby"

About 3 years since dear Rosie passed. This song is like a legacy of hers. She continued to sing for a long time, may this be a part of her for the rest of time.
When I was12, my sister took me to the Brooklyn Paramount for a Rock n' Roll show in 1960 or 61 (not sure). When Rosie came out, everybody whistled. She was very sexy. In 1961 I purchased my first stereo album, Rosie's Lonely Blue NIghts. 50 or so years later, I met her at a Southern California's DooWop Society concert in Long Beach and she signed my album. Rosie is not with us anymore, but I hope she knows how much all of us love her music. Rest in peace.

When I was12, my sister took me to the Brooklyn Paramount for a Rock n' Roll show in 1960 or 61 (not sure). When Rosie came out, everybody whistled. She was very sexy. In 1961 I purchased my first stereo album, Rosie's Lonely Blue NIghts. 50 or so years later, I met her at a Southern California's DooWop Society concert in Long Beach and she signed my album. Rosie is not with us anymore, but I hope she knows how much all of us love her music. Rest in peace.

My dog died today. This song was ours. I miss her so much.
Rosie's 14 year old voice was sooooo pure! She was a National City (CA) girl and had been friends with my high school girl friend. Went to two dances featuring her and her band and very cool. When I went to Viet Nam in the army I took this song on a tape recorder and played it low in the tent after coming off a hell hole patrol in the jungle and it made me feel back at home and calm down. My favorite lifetime song, I just wish I'd gone up and talked to her at those two dances...

This song is so sweet and means so much to me. There is this old couple who go to my church and they began babysitting me when I was only 3 months old, now I'm 12. This was their favorite song. Sadly HE passed away a little less than a month ago due to cancer. He passed while listening to this song. We miss him because he was amazing to me, my mom and my little sister. He never complained about helping and was friendly and very dedicated to the church. He loved everyone and his familly dearly. But we know we will see him soon on streets of gold.💓

I asked a customer what song they wanted me to play at work they responded, “Angel Baby”, the lady that requested the song was a much older woman (great grandma) and let me tell you she butchered the shit out of this on the high notes. It literally sounded like echolocation, bless her heart.

This song reminds me of my Grandma, I always enjoyed this song because of her, but now it makes me cry. I lost her, not physically. She was diagnosed with dementia at a young age. It's her birthday today. I love you Grandma.
