Chong Xie joined the training team 3 months prior to the Jessica Andrade fight as a movement coach and fascia conditioning coach. the main goal was to reduce foot related injuries and increase holistic power and accuracy through Hyperarch Fascia Training. UFC 248, Zhang Weili wins again vs. Joanna Jedrzejczyk by having what it could be the best female fight of the year. Currently, Coach Chong Xie actively trains Zhang Weili and planning on defending the title against the winner of Andrade and Rose.

Exciting information, I feel I'm learning so much and my training has changed from predominantly working muscle for the sake of hypertrophy, I now am focused on Hindu squats on the toes, Hindu pushups pull-ups running and skipping with locked ankles. I am feeling my calfs and shins a lot right now and working on consciously using the glutes in everything I do. Am I right in thinking we are essentially training elasticity? Love the work guys, and feeling great and much more pain free 🙏🙏🙏

Interesting content, but the music is distracting and makes it sound like a commercial lacking credibility.
Please stop adding the annoying music and let the work speak for itself.

I have found that if i retract my jaw and tongue, to the point where the jaw is relaxed closer to the throat and the tongue is resting with the tip on the mouth of my roof it increases my facial connection from very little to incredibly strong, it can barely contract the foot with facia, but then i can feel the facia line from under the foot up the side of my core when resting the jaw back and tongue back and up

The pelvic connection is taught in traditional martial arts. I was talking to my bagua teacher that the arch connects to the glutes .. he replied (translated) that it connects to the core/ dantian.. he knew and had already experienced beyond level 3 (and who knows how many above that).. this is supposed to basic to internal martial arts and I just wanted to hear him say it.. but few teachers can transmit it and students don't know what the teacher is talking about then don't put enough into the arch and the core (and more) for a rehabiliative amount of time ( I needed your research to understand these basic pieces that are built upon). Most teachers will talk about the arch and have you feel their core which is actually not skinny, but "musculer" , my bagua teacher is skinny but core is great which is very developed which he has used in tornaments and unintentionlly seriously hurting opponents. Fascia is piezoelectric. Squeezing the rehabilated core fascia can cause extension in the rehabilated fascial extremities piezoelectrically (a circuit could be drawn to demonstrate and this effect which is used in both motors , sensors, and generators (there are protein based man made electric generators from U.C. Berkely). If you look at dynamo jack th-cam.com/video/sMNcOQK1LWs/w-d-xo.html who shocks people and lights led, the first thing he shows is a pelvic exercise. But you can bet he is also tensioning his feet and could potentially harden his fascia for protection and be extremely fast let alone being able to zap you for good or bad. He is a teacher and probably goes over these but the student but will never have the understanding of how to do the exercises and also the why, which is part of chinese internal medicine tendon fascia power chi yin yang pressure. Splichal and Xie helped me do the exercises correctly. It is a very unusual experience once one develops this. I think teachers don't emphasize you will feel something elegant , unusual that comes with speed and power. So many students never even try to figure out what is wrong or even believe a transformation should take place and its actually extermely rare for students to have any speed or strength (expect a rare natural). Again I owe it to Splichal , Xie, chinese medicine, western medicine, for helping me develop and experience these arts as they were intended.

Does martial arts help to move smoother? I’m stiff and rigid when I play sports. I want to move graceful with finesse. Just don’t know what to work on.

I just want to share since you guys have already given me so much; too much athleticism is “fight or flight”, while I relate I do not approve because of my experience with PTSD. My training then is dance based even though it is an Athlete based game; this reduces the stressors and tensions associated with fight or flight to include metabolical disadvantages such as visceral fat accumulation!! 😇😇😇😇😇😇😇

Great work by both of you exploring the fascia 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤, Simply amazing how science improves our knowledge over time with new discoveries in this case in the human anatomy. This fascia is nothing short of miraculous. Also notable how alot of the ancient teachings were somehow of this knowledge.
