Love this, and I agree with your observations about the unexpected joys winter brings. Did you know you can sometimes bike across Utah Lake when it freezes over? Something to look forward to next year :)
@@TrentSiggard Then maybe you also saw our attempt earlier in the season to ride on Utah Lake, where we had just as much fun breaking through the ice :) It'd be fun either way!
Nice video, Trent. As someone who grew up in Alaska, I can say that the summer is more more glorious when you feel like you earned it by surviving the long winter.
That's how I've been feeling this summer. The duality is a beautiful thing! I love Alaska, I've been twice, Would love to spend more time in that state!
How much of the Owens valley Aqueduct route did you ride? Try Antelope Island for road and Mtn biking it's unique geology. My favorite place for riding, in short time I was in UT.
@@TrentSiggard I did road ride down to the sheep ranch from causeway and different road ride around the NW corner to the Buffalo lookout lookout and the camping sites. Mtn biking was great from White Rock Bay trailhead, most scenic trail for me was the Split Rick Loop. There are other Mtn bike trails I can tell you about, bring more water!
@TrentSiggard here is map of the island stateparks.utah.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/13/2019/07/Brochure-Map.2019.png I did 2/3 of the west side trail twice, didn't finish it for running out of battery and the other attempt ran out of water. A full suspension fatbike helps and best to have an electric fat bike
Great video, its nice to see someone share their feelings on this website! Keep up the good work!
I hope to do it more. It was nice to write something and put visuals to it. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Cheers!

I saw you did that last year, that would be so cool! Except I'm a heavy guy and I'd worry about falling in lol

I did the paved road at antelope island! I need to explore more there. I rode from the intake of the aqueduct to the terminus!

Wait what brand are those yellow tires????
Not too sure! I got them on Amazon and the logo is a blue wing
Where can i find this aqueduct route?
I’m working on a video about the route & working with bikepacking organizations to publish the route. I think it’ll go public in July!
Huh? Where are you. Nothing in the description. Not sure why this came up on my feed
I'm in Utah!
