Few reasons why: 1) You're not limited to racing, or to Australia. 2) You're not going to up and leave yourself 3) You can film and produce whatever you want. Wanna go racing Finke? Wanna do some hiking in Peru? Wanna go riding King Street on a downhill bike? You've got a channel for it. Sponsorship might be tricky without a razor focus, but it might also be easier because you're being true to your passion.
So glad you guys are back. Always been one of my favourite TH-cam channels and I believe use were well on your way to being a household series around Australia if not the world. And like others have said just go with PetriFilms for now it works.

I love your style of producing and editing. Heck, you could make a cooking show and I would watch it. What about LongTravel? It plays on the need to both travel long distances and have extended stroke suspension for mountain biking and off road racing.
I look back on the og aussie racer films quite fondly. Its a little sad thinking that sandy and that direction of films may be behind us. But ill have a drink to what the future holds.
Petri Films sound fine for a name of the chanel. Sounds like the sort of content we all loved watching so I hope it all works well, I am excited to see what you make of it.
Hey petri iam terrible at naming channels but would love to help out if possible I’ve been looking at firing up a TH-cam channel as a following a 40yr father of 2 young ones getting back into racing. I race road bikes in the bears series and enduro on dirt. I used to be pretty handy on a downhill bike 20 years ago like coming 3rd behind the like of Nathan Rennie had a list of events I wanted to try but some got got canceled with thanks to corona would love to help in anyway I could . Anyway just a idea hope to watch your awesome work coming up
MTB & motorsport for sure, local rebuilds, local tom foolery in general would be delightful? NZ & Australian is rich in talent for content More slapping faces??
Why don't you just call it the "Petri Films" TH-cam channel for now? Change it later if you want. Or keep it, it's pretty memorable and unique, and it's your name.

also, PetriFilms has a fun verb/noun wordplay going on. And you've already got the graphics for it.
One word of caution is Petrifilm also refers to bacteria biofilms formed in petri dishes.
I'm sorry to hear what happened, 5 years ago I remember I loved to watch the episodes so I'm interested to see where you go.
