When you are in the apprenticeship program, how is health insurance handled? Is it you just have the staff nurse available? What happens if something bad happens health-wise? Thanks!
Hey Dave, it’s mostly the staff nurse although if it’s more serious they’ll take you to a doctor. If it’s real serious, you’ll probably have to go home to take care of it yourself. Once you’re on a ship they cover you.

Do you need a Highschool diploma or GED to get into the apprenticeship?
I don’t know, but I don’t think so. That’d be a good question to ask admissions or your union hall.

Sometimes. Just gotta take what you can get.
Now it is super hard I’m a c card I upgrade this year if u don’t get b book soon it gone get worse
