Dress Code: On the day of biometrics, I wore casual jeans and top while on the day of interview I wore formals comprising of white shirt and black pants with formal footwear.

Hey Everyone, since most of you have been asking me about the “signed I20”, here is the general answer for it:
So there’s a student attestation field on the first page of your I20, you need to sign on the space given above your name. If you are a minor, then your parent/guardian’s signature is also required.

Hi Rahul,
I have 3.5 yrs of experience and didn’t have any gap. Most of the people were recent ungrads so I didn’t see anyone being questioned about work experience or gap.

I said that it is a generalised term the university uses to denote all the engineering courses.

First of all congratulations. I wanna know if the location of the consulate matters or if they r biased and also if there are only Americans who would interview the candidate or there's a possibility of getting an indian officer

Hi Jaspreet,
As per my personal experience, location of the consulate does not matter because I got to know that all the VOs are rotated around the consulates periodically. Also, There are Indian American officers in the consulates but not in huge numbers so the chances that you get one during the visa interview are less.

Yes, on the first page the student is supposed to sign under student attestation field where your name is specified. If you are under 18 then your parents/ guardian’s signature is also required.

Plz cnfrm aa i am having single name on my passport so while filling out the info for embassy fee we need to write in both the columns so i write my name in both the spaces i.e. In given name and last name both (Natasha) so when interview booked it showed natasha, natasha.
So is that correct? Actually i am little worried now. Plz revert
