Watching the Jaeger walkthroughs will give you a good impression of the classic sound as Jaeger lacked the modern mixes in the past. The recordings are either identical or recorded in identical conditions. Keep in mind, however, that in Jaeger the reverb was deactivated by default while it is activated in Nucleus. The recordings alone are relatively dry in both cases.
During black Friday, I could order Nucleus full + Jaeger's choir for about 300€ This is a very good deal. I am using mostly EW composer cloud, but thanks to the sample delay management from NCL is will be easy to blend those two great library. In addtion I'd like to say Nucleus GUI is straight forward and user friendly. Very good product.
Bought the lite version but I am sold on the complete version after doing research. But kinda feels lame to have to buy the complete at full price after literally just buying the lite. So they offer discounts for upgrades
sorry mate but i noticed at no point you had the tight option switched on under the expression knob...i missed if there was a reason for that...i just bought nucleus and when its on its much more worth the dollars for me
I am having a big issue/problem with the FULL VERSION of Nucleus: The Orchestral Core, specifically with the solo instruments. For some reason, it's not possible to adjust or automate the "vibrato" on any of the solo instruments. I thought it was just me not understanding how to do this, but I wrote to Audio Imperia about this, and they confirmed that the vibrato of the solo instruments can't be automated or adjusted. I find this staggering, as I thought that this would be one of the basic requirements of any orchestral library, especially considering the price of the Nucleus library, and it's making the library almost unusable for me when using solo instruments. I wonder if anyone else has an issue/problem with this, and any advice on how to work with this to get the most authentic-sounding solo instruments possible?
I know right that was one of the important things in an orchestral library, but i managed to automate it with dynamics. The vibrato kicks in in about 50% dynamics but then the volume will be affected too.
The vibrato isn't simulated. It's recorded, hence it's impossible to remove. The site even says that the soloists come with Progressive Vibrato. They flat out tell you at the gate that it comes with vibrato
WOuld I still be eligible for a crossgrade if I already bought Lite on sale (Because of Black Friday deals, I got it for $79)? Or does it apply to full priced purchases only?
The lack of articulations on the Lite Edition is kind of a deal breaker for me; those little details are the most important. The instruments sound absolutely beautiful, but i’d basically have to pay 500$ for articulations..
That's the tactic from companies, bait with an incomplete product so you pull that 500$ from your wallet to get the correct product! No wonder they are living like kings, go see their houses and you will see what i mean since i know one.
I liked the Lite very much but there are some important cons they can update: this automation, the very unbalanced choir, the very unbalanced woodwinds ensemble. The Gongs.
I feel the Classic Mixes are rarely showcased, and I must say, I'd love to see some more of them.

I bought Nucleus Lite and Areia Lite. I'm totally blown away. They sound crazy good and now i want to upgrade Nucleus. Audio Imperia Rocks.

the tight knob is for when you are playing faster sections with legato for example, its not good to keep it always on

God really. Even Abelton a orchestral always you change that. To bad that Abeltons sounds suck.
