I love how Hamish and Kyloe close their eyes and get this look of pure pleasure when you brush them. Rodger is so sweet and he has real affection for you.
I'd like to think that I understand how Roger feels, the older I get the more I realize that I should have taken better care of myself. Last spring I broke my ankle at work and had to stay in bed for six weeks. Every time I had to get up I called my cat into the bedroom and took a hold of his tail to steady me so I could get up . He didn't mind a bit and seemed to sense that I truly needed his help as I live alone and had no one for help. I always gripped his tail near the base and never pulled. Zipper spent most of his day sleeping with me, which was indeed a great comfort. Thing is that Zipper was the runt of the litter and almost didn't survive as a kitten, but he turned out to be the best cat that has ever owned me. Don't worry Marc your doing just fine with your videos. Its great that people make suggestions, but you do what pleases you. We enjoy watching you and your critters!

I would have loved to live on a farm as a kid. At 69 it’s too late😔 At least I got to live in the country, even if we didn’t have animals I could walk to visit my neighbours who did. So I am really enjoying your videos. Don’t change anything, everything is fine as is👍
function sustains form, goats climb a lot around the most uneven terrain for fairly little food intake i donno when doest a goat look fat but maybe treks in the hills would help and just oats to develop muscles

I consider it payment to a creator to like the video and try to leave a comment. And if it's a channel that I watch with any sort of regularly I subscribe.
The content is given to me for free. So, I try to do what I can to pay back by helping to boost the numbers. To me it's just the right thing to do.
To watch and run without giving back is like eating a meal without paying or even saying thank you.
That being said, if a creator has a snarky remark to my supportive comment, I'm likely not to return. It would be like going back to a restaurant where the food or service was bad.

You should only do what’s comfortable. You’re a one man show and it’s unreasonable for anyone to expect to see every moment on the farm, especially with your workload!

Regarding your question: The way I see it, the animals always come first. Taking videos should always have a lower priority than whatever else you have to do during the day.
Being able to watch your videos in general, I find a privalege and not an entitlement, particularely given the work you have to do day-to-day and time you likely want to spend with family and friends without a nosy youtube audience watching on.
That said, maybe you could install live cams in the areas the animals are at most often during the day. That way people can get their fill of handsome Hamish & Co. while you don't have to worry about filming.
Another possibility would maybe be a headcam, then you got your hands free to work if you wanted to show us your run of the mill. I wouldn't fuss too much about running comentary at all. If people need someone to hold their hand during every second of your videos, they might aswell ask their mothers to hire them a babysitter.
Given the nature of your channel, I am sure the majority of people watching enjoys even just being able to see you and all the animals, with or without commentary.
Sadly, the rowdy minorities usually shout the loudest. Just don't bother with them. You can't please them all, nor should you feel like you have to.
