I went to do a Freedom of Information Act Request on the officer that have me a ticket for going 56 in a 50. He claims that the speed limit was 45 and he has to treat everyone fairly and that's why he gave me a ticket.
Here are the results from that FOIA request:
Dates of employment for Justin Sauceda Badge #4217 - 10/02/2023 TO PRESENT
All complaints made against ofc Sauceda - NO RESPONSIVE DOCUMENTS
number of tickets issued on May, 18th 2024- 3 CITATIONS
Number of license plates called into dispatch on May 18th 2024- 21 LICENSE PLATES

"Escalate" it up the chain? WTF does that mean? Yes, we all know what it means but it
really is a stupid way of expressing it. And no, you have state law to get those records,
but you have no "right" to them.
Another auditor who is ignorant about how open record requests work. The FOIA records
you requested are state records and are not subject to any Federal laws. The "FOIA ACT
of 1966" only applies to Federal records. Each state, like your own, has its own FOIA rules, and there is no, as the Supreme Court has ruled, Constitutional "right" to any records.
You're quite right. FOIA is federal and the records he is seeking are state records (actually, likely they are municipal, but subject to state law). Yet the Sgt. seemed to understand his request and brought him a form which is probably standardized by the municipality (city/county) to serve dual purpose so as to reduce redundancy and/or jurisdictional errors as you have pointed out. So... at the end of the day, while he may have misspoke, he will likely get the records he his seeking and (hopefully) learn for next time.

@@andreysloan8347that's OK, that's exactly what we have 1983 lawsuits for and while being arrested isn't necessary to get the money, it sure does significantly raise the amount in settlement or award if for some reason they actually took it to trial. 2023 was one of the best years for settlements of known info, I'm sure by year end it will definitely be even higher than 2023 was, and that's only of known figures, most are not openly made available for public.

You see long island audit or jeff grey walking around in mirror eyed skull masks? The response by police is inappropriate to them, but I don't think being alarmed by someone walking around with that mask in a building is that unusual. Just like taking pictures in public areas, spreading around you is not illegal. There's nothing to criticize there. They weren't close to you, they didn't push into your personal space.
This is on you. You need to get better at this, and part of that is not appearing alarming. Taking pictures indoors is totally normal. Treating someone in a mask like yours with caution is also normal.
Frauditors wear masks because they are looking to elicit a negative response from people, it's all part of the trolling.
This has nothing to do with 1st amendment rights, it's all about TH-cam clicks.
But I guess I shouldn't expect anyone who subscribes to this nonsense to understand that.

I believe this is what they call butt hurt. When he stood up for his rights inside, they got their feelings hurt, and so now, all 3 of them came outside when maximum needed would be, maybe one if the officer was scared of his own shadow. Another waste of taxpayer citizens money. This is something we need to get under control. Our police departments have grown too large too big too powerful and have no accountability. Way to much money going to them. It's a problem then. They want to serve and protect whoever they want to and tell everybody else it's not their problem. We've all seen it. Not standing up against the out of control dangerous police won't make it better. It's getting worse.

This is why we shouldn't have female cops interacting with members of the public. If you need male backup, that requires the city to pay more officers. The citizens shouldn't have to pay for extra employees to watch over their female officers.
