I was finishing up the travel journals for the kids, and was planning to make a large tag to go in them, actually pulled out some cardboard, so this gives me some ideas. I may have to look around for some negatives, I have a ton, as I was the photographer in the family growing up, so pics of basically the entire family, minus me. I was also the floral designer at Lee Wards, craft store back in the day, so most of those pics I tossed, hopefully I have negatives lying around 🤔 Do love the embossed look on them, another great idea. Oh... that reminds, I tried coffee dying some glossy photo paper, came out kinda cool, yep, may emboss that if all else fails 🤩
I followed your "Double Pocket with Side Tuck" - Inspired by Camelia Crafts as the journal, used 11 x 17 inch road maps to create, so ended up a good size for the travel journal.
Last night I watched your video "November Freebie from Which Craft Do You Do" to get ideas on using that freebie. I used it on the cover of the mini journals I made to put in the pocket, I think it turned out ok.
Today was gonna make the tags, but only got stuff pulled out, was trying to get more organizing done, plus cooking, laundry, planting tomato seeds that sprouted, etc... Life sure gets in the way sometimes, but will definitely finish up tomorrow and hopefully post to your Facebook group I follow 🥴

Hello Carol 😊 🪻 my goodness your just as busy as me lol and yet we always seem to find time for some crafting 😊 your travel journals sound wonderful. I'm sure your kids will love them. I'm going through a bit of a dry spell the last few days. Can't seem to settle on an idea ... I guess that happens to everyone from time to time.

Hey Lynn, yep, I don't know how you all do it sometimes, always coming up with new ideas, I can't imagine. 💜 Although I know doing videos, Etsy Ko-fi, etc. is income for a lot out there, I know I couldn't do it, lol.
The friends out here who I journal with tell me I should start a channel. I think it may be fun, but not sure what's all involved, and not interested in an actual business. I always joke when setting up doctors appts, that "whenever "works for me, I have no life, lol, but actually, I must have one, as I'm always busy, how that happens I just don't know, lol.🤣😂🤣 Then again, a couple of my specialists I have to see several times a year, so they keep me busy.🥴
I have the travel journals done--ish, lol. Since they're for boys I didn't get too carry away. I was gonna post on yours and WhichCraftDoYouDo's Facebook page, but not having much luck finding either last night. I'm sure I followed/joined you both, mhm, FB makes finding things difficult, so any thoughts... or a link??? I used the ID cards freebie from WhichCraftDoYouDo, following your videos on using those and your video "Double Pocket with Side Tuck" to make the actual journal, I used 11x17 inch paper from a road map book, so they're not too small or too large.
I'm following on your Tri Fold Folio - Beginner Friendly video, have the folio made and now ready to start embellishing/filling. I'm using the Jan Freebie from WhichCraftDoYouDo, already printed and cut out, so again, you see, I downloaded the freebie, but yep, dementia is kicking in for me I guess, cuz not sure why I can't find it on FB, jeepers, lol.🤔 ... and by the way, I know it's probably just me, it's got to be there, and I'll see I'm following it when I finally find it, lol.
