Thank you again for letting us take part of your fantasy world. Im just about to start this book nr 6. It's 14.19 in the afternoon. I have to lay down straight on my back with 4-5 pillows under my knees so thar my back gets as straight as possible, I can't hold a book like that because very soon I lose the feelings in both of my arms. So audiobooks saved me. First I thought they were going to slow but you get used to it. As a huge plus are your books. Your fantasy and intrig fits me perfectly. So again, thank you for letting me in and sharing with all of us. ❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
I love the way Otto deals with his many, many problems while always keeping on a cool head. It's nice to have a protagonist who doesn't act like a fool making dumb decisions all the time. The way you flesh out characters and the world they live in is amazing. Honestly, I admire your creative brain and your writing style so much!
I agree with this! I came to this series after reading the Eragon series and let's just say Eragon as a character left MUCH to be desired. Otto is well fleshed out and properly motivated. He wants to save the world so that he can become a god in peace. Also it's really cool how he doesn't lose his sense of justice just because he doesn't hold back. If you stepped up you basically volunteered to be a means to an end 😂
@MicahMane Exactly! It's entirely up to you, but if you decide to join his inner circle, or just his side really, be prepared to get used in the most efficient way possible. He is pretty upfront about that, too. To be honest, anything less wouldn't make sense. If you strive to conquer a whole continent and/or the world, you really can't afford to argue about every single one of your decisions or to constantly baby other's feelings about yourself and your actions. Otto has to accomplish a lot in very little time, so naturally, he wouldn't waste that precious time with pointless explanations and soothing words. Ah yes, Eragon. I think that series works for a majority of a younger audience, but the more you read and the more material you have to compare it to, the more the holes and problem's with the book shine through. Although I don't think it is a bad series per se, Eragon was never my type of protagonist either. Otto all the way! 😅

Others I listen to struggle to get the next chapters out or they don’t at all and when they do most time there out of series and makes it hard to know which is first in the sequence be great if these books do over lap and you put the linking books to them so listeners can go back to the very behind and begin from there
I found this series after listening to 'Magician' and I must say it's the perfect segue into this world. Was already delving deep into the magical fantasy world of that to jump straight into another. Can't wait until the last book, you truly are a gifted writer and j look forward to reading/listening to your previous and future work.
I cant help seeing a connection between Otto and Rand al thor. However Otto dives into the do what must be done mentality where as Rand fights his corruption tooth and nail to the bitter sweet end.
Can we get a mini story about what happened to the celestial empire like we did with Auldin? I'm curious if Marious took over or got crushed by the alchemists.

Just flew through Chamber of Eternity across a workday. As someone named Colton, the Scout's continued skills always please. As someone who regularly plays Artificers in fantasy games, Lord Colt's workshop tickled me pink. Can't wait to see what awaits Otto in this novel.

Continuing in my efforts to avoid spoilers, Book 5: Otto seems more self aware in this book, this is promising, though what it promises, I cant say. Adding another continent? A must for any epic fantasy. Your world building continues to be at once familiar and unique. Onward!
It's the sixth book in this series and I still cannot comprehend why the main character is called Otto whereas it's heard as Ado, similarly to Ada Shelby from Peaky Blinders. Nevertheless I enjoy these books much.
