It’s never worth it... it’s stealing money from an artist. (I’m not saying you are saying it is worth it! Since you can’t tell my tone in a text!) but so many deck creators are being robbed and it is wrong. If we are supposed to live our lives based off of good morals and good ethics, then purchasing these are wrong. Ciro Marchetti refuses to make anymore decks now, due to the amount of counterfeit decks. So Marchetti Tarot he said was his last deck. And some creators are starting to agree. So yes we need to support our artists, and deck creators. The work very hard to get to where they are today, counterfeiting their work is just wrong.
I actually have the sticking issue with some of my most expensive decks. I've learned that the best way to fix that is with Fanning powder. It works like a charm!! I just do a good cleanse after.
I’m just starting tarot readings; I have reallly small hands and have a hard time shuffling anyways, my hands are a lot smaller than yours. But I think it’s a cheaper way to start out. Then slowly investing in the actual decks, with covid 19 and stuff I just wanted to get a few starter decks.
I agree. I have small hands as well and prefer the fake decks. I agree they are not of great quality but in the end, it's all about the reading. We are all intuitive. These are just tools to enhance your gift. Besides, maybe if the creators consider offering 2 sizes, we wouldn't have an issue purchasing authentic decks. 🙂
Buying these decks literally robs the creator. They're made in factories, under wretched conditions, by people for pennies. Not to mention that it's actually illegal to buy stolen property. But, hey, its cheaper for you, so what?
I bought lots of originals decks, about three hundred, and it get damage in silver edges after I used them just for myself and three ou four friends...yes, not so much! For small hands, the fakes are so much better, and, girl, I am a actual writer, my two published books are on line for free... what can I do? Be happy, for sure! You can always do some bonfire and burn them all! So, dance around the fire! Just kidding, dont you take the life so seriously... 😂😂😂
I'm a single mom and I'm glad that there is a cheaper version, I love tarot en oracles but I don't have the money to buy them there are so pricey. So I buy my decks on aliexpress!
I think its super important to support the artists and buy the genuine decks. When people buy the cheaper plagiarised versions, none of the money you spend on the deck goes back to the artist. When buying online, always try to buy direct from the artist via their own website or Etsy store, or buy direct from the publisher's website, or a legitimate bookstore listed as a stockist on the publisher's website. It may cost a few dollars more, but you are supporting the artist who has put months or years of work into creating the deck, and you are going to get better quality cardstock that will feel better in your hands and survive many years of use. There is also the concept of energy to consider. Most people cleanse their decks before using them, but when you buy an illegitimate deck with stolen artwork, I believe that negative energy is deeply ingrained in the fake cards and sticks with them, even after cleansing. This negative energy comes from the theft and the deception, and probably also the fact they would be printed in factories with poor or dangerous working conditions, and the exploitation of underpaid workers. Buying legitimate decks is important for so many reasons. Its never worth it to buy a fake.
I have legit gilded decks and you have to do the "crack" lol. I bend them from top and bottom for the new book spine crack sound, then inhave to pull each apart with my nails gently. It helps
Do the real ones feel like you are going to rip the card off the gilding and end up with gilded fingers? I have my eye on some gilded decks, but if they are like these ones then I don't want them!
@@NorthernHedgeWitch well, the mystic Mondays is thicker card stock, I feel they needed it for the gilding, but I have not had it come off at all. You can return to Ebay even if the seller does not accept returns. You have to open a ticket (if not sure how, you can get them to contact you and the call back is pretty quick and they have great customer service). When you open a ticket, you will have the ability to explain why you are unhappy with your purchase, and in your case they will some kind of refund (the same thing happened to me with something I purchased and it was fake).

Does the reading differs if fake deck used?
The readings depend on the reader, not necessarily the deck (though many readers will say they connect with certain decks over others which definitely helps)
Cheaper cards smaller and easier to shuffle!
I felt like this before - but cheaper cards also bend and contort which makes them harder to shuffle in the long run.
@@NorthernHedgeWitch not come across that yet 🙈 but I’ll watch out for it 💜 I’m just getting older and so are my hands 🤣🤣🤣💕
temu does the same. i prefer the actual cards
Thanks. 👍
Thank you
You are very welcome
If you download the booklet it is a fake deck.
Is amazon ok? Xx
Carly Nicholls most of the time but I have stumbled upon a few fake decks on amazon as well! If a deck typically retails for $20 and you find it any less than about $10 (unless it’s on the publisher’s website on sale or used), it’s probably not real
I have a few and i got my on ebay
And don't forget fb and other shopping apps
THE RESULT IS POOR....WHAT YOU PAY, IS WHAT YOU GET...🌷
Great content
Thank you Victor
