Why does this song make me sad every time I listen to it? I don’t know! I guess I do not understand the language in the song well anymore and I relate this song to her personal sadness with her marriage, with that idiot who doesn’t deserve her anyways, that broke! Singing was good. But orchestration didn't do any justice to the original song. Chorus was terrible too
Sweet song! But "porane, porane?" What does it mean? "Come, come?" I can read and write Tamil but I have never heard this word in Tamil. I only know the word "Vanko!" This word exists in Malayalam though. "Poroo, poroo!" "Come on!" "Varoo, varoo!"
Porane simply means 'He is going away'.
Oh I see! In Malayalam "Poraane!" means "Come, elephant!" Poru (come) + Aana (Elephant).
In Tamil vaa means come, po means go.. Pogiran means he is going away... While speaking, we say poran...
