- A very interesting game against a player who tends to get the better of me in most matches. He's a very aggressive player, so I'm always prepared to defend against him, and attacking against him is definitely a rarity for me. Much of the same happened in this game, with him launching attacks from the very beginning, so it was up to my defenses (and his own attacking reads) to determine how the game went. GG Zach.

When he said near the end that he had to go feed a baby, do you think he was referring to himself?
Zach is a very good player, but you can be sure he already knows all your pieces - even if he hits them and loses a piece. It's always "obvious"
lol, I beat him more than anyone else besides Josh, (Broken Clock) so I know for sure. Recently, my back row marshal was so obvious that he hit it with his colonel :)
I was laughing so hard when he said Marshall was obvious as he proceeds to run away from 2 bluff pieces with his general

Guess so haha! There have been a few different variations of the game rules throughout the years though
@@fairwaystrategovideos I have noticed a lot of house rules being discovered that people just thought were part of the rules.
That's a house rule. Think of it as a "minefield". Till you send a miner in there to clear the area, it's dangerously stupid to try to walk around in. Even today, there are uncleared minefields that the local government simply haven't cleared.

I don't want to bad mouth your opponent, perhaps you know him well, and obviously he is only typing text with no body language intonation etc. However, to me his messages come off a little a jerkish. Obviously, nothing worth getting upset over, but man I wish he'd tone it down a couple notches. I guess at least he is consistent, he plays like he talks LOL.
That's pretty much how Zach is. He's friendly but gets aggravated when he loses. There are a fair amount of guys like that on the site. I'm pretty used to ignoring it or just taking it in stride
