Gen Z may want to retire early because they are the fattest sickest people in the US. Almost 50% of kids are overweight or obese and continue to eat the SAD (standard American Diet). So much junk food and many can’t cook or have any knowledge about eating a clean diet. I am 69 live alone retired registered nurse who is now working part-time in a fashion center and have no plans to quit. Its way too boring to stay at home. As the Ramsey people say, we are meant to work. And its fun. I meet lots of people and have many conversations that I would not be able to if I retired entirely. I have 3 a fairly good pensions which are almost as much as I made when I was working. But the extra money lets me do more to my house and it helped me pay off my home 11 years early.
@@MarriageKidsandMoney Thank you for your kind words. Just wished I had found all of you (Ramsey etc) long ago. But no use looking back its now that is the greatest time.
@@karmasutra4774 I agree about them not wanting to work. They see life as short and want to spend that time as they see fit. My son had a vasectomy when he was 21. I asked why? He said its a short life, I want to spend it on myself. Then he met a woman who had a 2 year old. 8 years later she died of an accident. Guess who has legal custody of her. He does. Life can throw some funny curves.
Are you pursuing early retirement?
Nice share. Latching onto partitme job helps a lot
Absolutely! Both financially and emotionally.

They won't be retiring .. most don't want to work lol
I like your plan! Find something you enjoy doing part-time and it doesn't feel like work.
Congrats on all of your financial success :)
