Great detailed demo and explanation! thanks for sharing! Just wonder if we can use dot product as the control forward to right vector to remap to the curve?

We’ve used dot products before and I can’t think of anything off the top of my head as to why not.

Can i ask why you didnt just use an additive layer for your prejump antic? I enjoyed watching it this way because it was a different approach, but... with all due respect, the entire time i felt like an additive layer wouod be superior. Great video. See you on the discord.

I like that you did it this way because it seems valuable, but can you talk a little about specific use cases where this particular method would be preferred over a standard additive?

do you mean in the authoring of it? If so as an additive on top of the idle? If that is the question then mostly while authoring the action I don't want to fight other animation that is on going. I'm use to more of the create your animation and use additives to ease that process or add something on top of it like breathing

Well i mean. If you use an aim offest and bend the legs as well as the head it should work right? Im still very very new to animation

A bit off topic here, but I keep hoping you'll do at least a quick video highlighting most if not all the key differences between utilizing macros and functions, I understand their basic implementation, but some use case examples would really help solidify my confidence and competence. Thanks in advance either way! Your series has been my go to for learning and reference!

I've added this to the list of video requests!
