I just bought the 128i An it spells everything I want it too,, single, 40, an no room for a car seat 💺 lol it’s comfortable for two people An one in the back this is not a family car An I love it An the Convertible goes back really uniquely and nicely

Thank you for this video. I was curious about the rear leg room and this helped.

Good review. It's a pitty they didn't do a retractable hardtop on these, though they probably take more room and it sounds like it's already at it's limits.

Julian Williams are you kidding me, I wish the 3/4 series had soft tops, hardtops are stupid, heavy, slow, and take up the entire boot.

@@chrisogrady28 And also easy to cut through/vandalize :/

JustifyJustin vandalise maybe, but they’re really hard to actually cut through, modern soft tops have many layers of fabric, plastic, and metal skeletons. You can’t just stick a knife in and reach into the car

@@chrisogrady28 No different than smashing a window and grabbing whatever you want.

@@2steaksandwiches665 yeah windows are by far thr most vunerable point of entry, if anything a soft top makes it harder to break a window as the frame is flexible so the window can flex on impact more

All convertible need heated seats . As standard ... I have had over last 20 years and would not buy a care without ...

Going for a test drive tomorrow of a 2008 model. It’s for sale for just shy of £6000. I wonder what the new price would have been. Great spec: parking sensors, heated seats, full leather. Very excited :-) Only downside is I will be paying it off for three years lol :-) it will be worth it though. Thanks for the video.

I bought a 2010 model 7 months ago. Amazing car. Only had 39k when I bought it on the clock already got 47.5k now 😅.
Nippy, handles round corners superb for a drop top.
Brand new they went for circa 25-35k

@@565656gooner Nice! I ended up buying the car I commented about. It really is a solid reliable car. You're right about the price new. It is a bargain second hand if you get a well looked after one, and you look after it also.
