Oil Painting Demo-Mixing Colors, Simplifying Your Subject, and Building Highlights

Hello, fellow creatives! The importance of this painting demo was to show you how to create a painting by simply blocking in light and dark shapes with color, and to show you a few techniques I use when oil painting.
My color pallet: French Ultramarine Blue, Phthalo Blue, Viridian, Burnt Sienna, Raw Umber, Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Red, Cadmium Yellow, Yellow Ocher, and Titanium White. (This is a color pallet I use often and was the pallet I used when I first picked up oil paints.)
