Please know that it is tiresome to hear this scripture (which is quoted out of context in both places it appears). Yes, God is indeed able to heal, but He is sovereign and knows better than we do. It's as though all we see is through a microscope, close-up and without perspective of how God can use our circumstances "for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28). God has the perspective of all of eternity, which includes our difficult situations. This song reflects the attitude of the three men who were facing death in the fiery furnace; they knew that God was able to protect them from the flames, but even if He didn't, that they would not worship the idol (false god) that the king required, but would continue to worship the Most High God, who, indeed, did protect them from the flames. Some people who face physical pain and suffering are healed by God in this life, but, like me, others do not receive that healing, even though we have prayed earnestly for it, with absolute faith that God is able to heal any infirmity. The Scripture that people often quote to me or in prayer when they pray for my healing from chronic pain, Progressive Spastic Quadraplegia, and digestuve problems related to it, refers not to “infirmity," but specifically to “iniquity” (sin). The stripes that Jesus received on His journey to the cross on which He died are part of God's plan to heal us from our sin and the consequence of eternal condemnation because of it. As much as sometimes I wish it were true that all I had to do was place my faith in God’s ability to heal and quote some scriptures that are hand picked, I know that I would then be ignoring other scriptures that say that God sovereign Will, His choice is what remains supreme, that He is sovereign above all things, and He has the perspective of eternity that is not based on circumstances and feelings that drive us to wish for temporary comfort over what could bring eternal blessings to ourselves and others. I often think of the Apostle Paul in this situation, who prayed, scripture says, three times for his “thorn in the flesh,” indicating something physical, to be removed, but the Lord replied, [No, but] “My grace is sufficient for you.” With this perspective Paul said, “Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong” (see 2 Corinthians 12:7-10). I have seen how God has used my unfortunate circumstances for good, so it would be out of selfishness and only temporary relief that I would insist on God healing me in the here and now, and surpass the plans that He would otherwise have to touch other people through my circumstances. I have had countless occasions when I’ve been in the hospital when people have come into my room and I have been able to have conversations with them that have, by their report, blessed, encouraged, and inspired them. Some conversations have even taken place in ordinary places like the grocery store, when people are curious about why I’m in a power chair and have braces on both arms up to my elbows, and when they ask me, I have the opportunity to share with them how God has used my situation for good and for blessing others. Some of these situations have even resulted in the people vowing to “go back [to God] to church because [they] want what [they] see in [me],” or even to invite Jesus into their heart and lives, to repent of their sins for the first time, and dedicate their lives to Him. For those who insist that God always wants physical healing to take place right now, I would argue that God prioritizes the salvation of period over the temporary (in the Eternity Perspective) physical relief that He can provide. I’m reminded of the scripture penned by the Apostle Paul: “Therefore, [I] do not lose heart; though outwardly [I am] wasting away, yet inwardly [I am] being renewed day by day. For these light and momentary troubles are achieving for [me] a glory that far outweighs them all. So I fix my eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18).
“....even if you don’t, my hope is You, alone.” He stayed with me even when when I didn’t. He stayed even when I was at my worst. My hope is Him, alone.

I think, like with the story of Job, satan says to God, “she/ he won’t serve you if...” and so we must believe our earthly trials are to test us at a great and deep level for purposes we may not fully understand until the next life. When I endure my earthly trials, I offer them up and think of the sorrows Jesus also suffered on earth. As we walk through fire with our Lord, so will we walk in Glory with Him too one day. I can't remember how many years I have been dealing with severe psoriasis. One of the biological drugs I was given made my skin abnormal. Right now my skin doesn't wash right or moisturize. Lately I have been trying to cope with pain. But have recently learned of some You Tube channels that have been a blessing to me. Terradez Ministries, Charis Bible College and Andrew Wommack Ministries. Have been listening to the teaching on God wants you well and you already have it.

This is exactly what i have been praying with my 5yr cancer battle. I KNOW with a single breath God who breathed the universe into existence can reverse all this and restore me to health. I love💗 Jesus but i don't want to go home yet. Whats a few more years here compared to Eternity with Jesus? I don't want to die and leave my earthly father he's 84...my mother died 4 yrs ago of cancer. I know i must follow God's will... i am praying His will is to be Glorified through my restored health and show everyone especially the doctors WHO THE REAL GREAT PHYSICIAN IS!! ✝️🙏📖🕊💞

I think, like with the story of Job, satan says to God, “she/ he won’t serve you if...” and so we must believe our earthly trials are to test us at a great and deep level for purposes we may not fully understand until the next life. When I endure my earthly trials, I offer them up and think of the sorrows Jesus also suffered on earth. As we walk through fire with our Lord, so will we walk in Glory with Him too one day. I can't remember how many years I have been dealing with severe psoriasis. One of the biological drugs I was given made my skin abnormal. Right now my skin doesn't wash right or moisturize. Lately I have been trying to cope with pain. But have recently learned of some You Tube channels that have been a blessing to me. Terradez Ministries, Charis Bible College and Andrew Wommack Ministries. Have been listening to the teaching on God wants you well and you already have it.

This is exactly what i have been praying with my 5yr cancer battle.
I KNOW with a single breath God who breathed the universe into existence can reverse all this and restore me to health. I love💗 Jesus but i don't want to go home yet. Whats a few more years here compared to Eternity with Jesus?
