I mean, Atsumu [Cassie] is still a bad person. She did go after her Bestfriends ex knowing he was abusive and then when she was called out used the excuse that Suna[Rue] was an unreliable narrator and narrator threw her under a bus.
I'd also like to point out that your past isn't an eccuse for being a shitty person. Cassie was very manipulative and selfish. I really think she got what she deserved, whether her past was bad or not! She's also done plenty more.
