- We got our hands on the new Hot Wheels A.I Intelligent Race System! This set features cars with smart sensors to guide them on track. Virtual Hazards and obstacles also affect the cars while racing. The cars go full rc mode if you want to improve lap times. Great set, hours of fun can be had with this. Plus, the custom tracks you can create gives it lots of replayability. I'm not so sure how long the paper-made tracks will last though. Other than that, this will be a major hit for Hot Wheels and Mattel.

For Christmas, I purchased him the 6 lane hotwheel track with 12 extra pieces of track. I would like to get him the mini cube camera to film his races. Which brand and model do you use? Thank you!

You should pick up the Mattel Fast & Furious 7 car set with the F Bomb Camaro. I got it today and it’s really cool. It has a Koenigsegg CCXR and a Local Motors Rally Fighter in it as well, and those along with the Camaro are the main reasons I wanted the set.

There's another kind of A.I. toy called, "Anki-Overdrive" and there's so many different super cars to choose from, even "Anki-Overdrive, Fast And Furious" edition. The Fast and Furious edition of Anki-Overdrive has a special piece of track that when you steer your super car over it with either an A.I. or a friend on the same track, you slow them down. I have the Anki-Overdrive starter kit, some other kits that are sold separately, and a few super cars named; Thermo, Nuke Phantom, and Guardian. Try it, it's very fun.

I work in robotics and truly feel sorry for anybody who bought this and actually expected track pieces. Theres no smart in the smart track. Its literally just paper printed a certain color for a sensor thats called a line follower. As long as the sensor stays above the designated color (usually dark colors) the car will do its thing. When the sensor detects a different color the computer will force a response to get back to the darker color. Thats why the outside lanes of this traffic are whiter than the inside before the full change to blue, and proof its a very shitty sensor also. A $10 line follower doesn't need a different shade to prepare a response at all. So yeah, paper as a track and probably 0.50 cent sensor. Im so glad i didn't waste my money getting this for my 4 year old
This is like ANKI Overdrive and ANKI Overdrive is better because is has more game modes to play with and more accessories and it has jumps and weapons... Oh I wish I have an ANKI Overdrive with full set...
To anyone that has this and wants more "smart" track. Just print dark colors onto paper and use a different color tape as the track barrier, like scotch blue tape. Can almost guarantee a false advertising case against hot wheels because a line sensor is just a plug n play sensor, no a.i required whatsoever, so in the technical definition of a.i, this, doesnt meet it at all. To those who paid for this, call them out on their scam, i certainly would

i wouldve bought this but i find that its just a remake of anki overdrive which i already have and those cars have adjustable speed and can knock eachother cars out
