Devs really said "what if we take on Cod, BF and tarkov all in one game?" Can't wait to play
And all they need to do I think to compete with Tarkov a little more is make the extraction mode a bit more immersive. Take out the minimal, the hit marker effects, the health bars, and some of the interest points.
@@oxy728as someone who did not come from tarkov I personally prefer the casual experience of delta force extraction. I don’t really have time to play a milsim, I want easy to access and understand extraction mode. This is why I love delta force so much, it was really easy to pick up and I’ve been playing it far more than the big battle mode. It’s nice to be able to come home and run a couple of missions without having to try too hard.

Yeah its going to be free to play but then what will they monetize? If its just skins, that's fine. If its pay to win, pay for convenience, pay to progress, etc. then that will suck really bad.

I am definitely interested now! The thing about this game is that the graphics, the sounds, the movements, and the gunplay all have a sort of "weight" to them that I haven't seen in other FPS military shooters. The game feels grounded and weighty.
Helps that it hasn’t been ruined by Fortnite cosmetics - actually looks like a fun military themed shooter…. And no Nikki Minaj, Furries or other lame crap in sight!

I sure hope it stays this way. At least for the extraction part. I don't want movement players to ruin it all by slide canceling, bunny hopping, dolphin diving, etc...

Lucozade was indeed a thing back in the day as a cure all when poorly. It grapes, lucozade and flowers were what you gave people when visiting them in hospital

Just to keep with the theme… when I was young, bored at home, with no adult supervision, I decided to treat myself to 6 packets of Salt & Vinegar crisps.
Back to back.
Then followed this with a single banana. And was violently sick.
For years, well into adulthood, I wouldn’t go near bananas. Because clearly that one banana was the culprit (and not the 6 packets of crisps).

The Lucozade thing is something that my parents used to do too and I still continue it, always felt like it was the sugar content
I had lucozade as a kid when poorly… back then the bottles were clear glass and wrapped in an orange translucent crinkly wrapper…. I think the ‘healing’ purpose was it was maybe it was high in glucose
Hope this will be solo player friendly. DMZ was big fun, but hated the way whole teams would camp the exfil’s from the very start of the game. If it’s like that, I’m gonna have to get me a team together.
There is a solo queue in the currently ran beta test but it need furthur adjustments to the pace and gameplay. If you can put a trio together then it's still better to do so because of the comps you can do with the seven characters they now have.
The Lucozade thing is defo a British thing. It used to be really good for diabetics because of the sugar content when they crash. Old people always seemed to think it was magic. It used to be great for hangovers but they removed all the sugar.
When you had your first extraction, I got sad because I thought the video was gonna end and wanted to see more. Then I look that the time and saw it was a 51 min video. Let's gooooooooooo

32:04 - same here! "Glucozade" was invented in 1927 and was originally marketed as a health product, being sold in pharmacies and offered in hospital to "aid recovery". I did a study on it during my business A Levels haha!

Not an extraction player but as someone who still has a hardcopy of almost every Delta Force game I’m excited for the other mode and the campaign.

The real reason they delayed the test is because Arena Breakout Infinite’s tech test is coming out soon. If you been following both games, they announced ABI’s tech test a day or two after Delta force delayed theirs. These are the same devs, you actually register to both games on the same website with same account. ABI is having its closed tech test on the 24th, I’m sure they’re allocating all resources to that and a full release for ABI is just a few weeks away. That would explain the lack of new date for Delta’s Alpha and why they abruptly delayed it. I wouldn’t expect Delta to have their alpha until mid-late august after ABI releases…
How did you get that they are the same devs? They are both subsidiaries of Tencent, which is why they use the same accounts, but different studios. It's like saying Dice and Codemasters are the same devs because they are both owned by EA.

the Alpha was delayed due to weapons bugs and Matchmaking bugs that occurred in the European beta 😂
there were a lot of people complaining about Matchmaking, it wasn't putting people in lobbies with players, I was putting it on empty servers with bots... and some weapons, they had very reduced damage or simply didn't count the hit correctly

I like how whenever there's a "Battlefield killer" or "rival" (except COD) game, it ended up failing or being dead, like:
- WW3 back in 2022 (but the early access was 2019)
- Battlebit Remastered back in 2023
Which those games in this day, are now forgotten or not in the mainstream anymore, and BF 2042 is still relevant

In The Cycle they also had a base instead a menu. But the thing is - it gets quite annoying over time. It would be great to have a base AND an option to just use menus from anywhere in the base.

The codes are (-) that are in front are +2 (-) that are in the back are - 1 and all (*) are +1 you know for future games you can quickly read them with no decryption clue

Game looks like a breath of fresh air while also retaining some familiarity. Super excited for this one
Lucazade (Gatorade in the states) with Saltines and Sprite fixed all known diseases in the 80s
Also had grandparents that would give you Lucozade when you were sick. I don't think I've had it since the late 80s, when they passed on.
When very ill, I always get lucozade- fizzy, eloctrolytes and glucose. If you've had some stomach bug (or food poisoning) it really does help imo.
This game uses Tencent kernel anti cheat called ACE, it doesn't get uninstalled along with the game, it's basically Chinese spy ware.
Looks very promising. If the gameplay is as much fun as I saw in several videos, then I would also support them with buying stuff :D.

Pretty cool that there's a new Delta Force game. The last I played was in the late 90s, both the first and second games on PC. Those were fun games for me as a kid. I am looking forward to this new game.
