When I was a kid, I remember thinking we were the only ones who did weird things like putting a horse colt in a truck. It is good to see you keeping the tradition alive!!
Same here! I still remember steadying a new mini foal on the passenger side of an ‘89 GMC Sierra. Saved a mama from the kill pen. We pulled up to red lights and people just stared at his darling chestnut face and blaze staring out the window. 😂
We've traveled with a variety of animals in our vehicles, goats, lambs, ducks, even a calf. You do get the strangest looks from people as you're going down the highway, especially when your goat sticks his head out the passenger window.
Back in 1980 took out the back seat of a Fiat 128, transported a ram through town. Head out the window... the looks at the busy intersection! LOL, still a funny memory.
Image is in fantastic shape. You didn’t say specifically, but I assumed that his previous owners retired and moved into town. I’m sure they miss him terribly. So glad that you were able to get him. He’s got a good home with you for sure. I’m sure that being out in herds for his lifetime have increased his longevity and health.
Thanks so very much for sharing this backstory. There was a period of time when I wasn’t receiving your videos even though I was subscribed to your channel. This was such an amazing story! Do you still have these horses? I’m trying to figure out who they are in the pasture 🤔
04:40 - cut the crap - that foal's in 7th heaven !. That wee-lassie probably made sure it got a personal massage for the duration of the entire journey !
I'm sure after they have had their feet done and their toes shortened a good bit, they will be able to walk properly again. They look like a good bunch to get. You've done well. I'm sure the lady misses her horses a lot.
It's All In Family, such beautiful horses. Thank You for all the videos and knowledge. I Love the fact you teach us something new all the time. Knowing that they are well taken care of and so Loved! God Bless and Love Y'all!
G’day homestead horsemanship family supporters & co ;-) Thanks so much for taking us all along on your awesome journey with phenomenal adventures, absolutely love all of these magnificent extremely well put together horses, hope you all achieve more than you’ve planned.. With many source blessings with truth clarity love light laughter happiness joy fun play creativity adventures abundance wisdom wealth and may peace be with you all! Victoria Australia 🇦🇺 xox 😘
WOW thats asume. Praise the Lord! Ilove that palomino mare whit blaze so gouges. The other one is so wondeful good. The fol is looking to hav3 a briljant fjuther.
The foal fit in that backseat truck slot like it was made for him! he didnt slop around with the truck moving, he was comfortable and safe, im surprised he didnt fold up his little legs and go to sleep!
Hello from Missouri (as well)!! Just wondering the date you got to bring this beautiful stallion home? I have been catching up on your older videos and trying to fix a timeline in my head- lol!! Ty for your stories- I enjoy them!!
Hahaha 🎉. Horses in the car! I gave my girlfriend a boar goat and she came and picked it up in her brand new Car just plunked this full grown goat in the back seat. A year later my friend passed away and her son said come get this goat! So the goat rode home in the backseat of my car! Lots of looks from the people we passed in town!
I'm from South Africs & have been handling all k8bds of horses 4 the past 70 years & watching your channel 4 some time & the way u treat your horses is excellent!!! The way you handle foals is topclass!!! Sòò much better than others I've watched. What exquisite horses!!!! So glad u lit git them!! 😂😂😂 Keep going this way & then, not surprisingly, u'll have gr8 & well-behaved horses. Oliver's an amazing horse, nlbut a Clydesdale ís normally a well-mannetbed & plasid horse. Enjoy him!! He is a star!!!
I have a friend that wanted to breed a favorite older mare. Had no luck with stud but bought a mare with a male half grown foal. They put him in the older mare and they lived together she was over 20. A year or so later the mare got pregnant successfully had a foal. And then she had another the next year. I guess she liked that young stallion!
What is the difference between a dark Pallamino and a light one, apart from the colour? I love your channel, watch it all the time, but i really dont know much, if anything about 🐎🐎🤗🙋🏻♀️
I love, love Palomino’s . My favorite kind of horse. When I was a little girl, I would beg my parents for one. 😢 never got one. Still want one, but I’m 62 years old don’t think it will ever happen.
We did the same thing, our mare had her foal with the wild bunch and she was on the other side of the fence line and her foal was on the other side. But she came home and no foal we went and found her and placed it in the back seat they have never been apart since
My daughter saw this video and, with a straight face mainly because her dad uses the back seat in his truck for transport of newborn and very young livestock out of the fields to the barn or vet, asked me if you did not know that part of the truck was for the babies.
Beautiful stallion, but I am watching as a new fan so I know that you lost him not too long afterwards. Sad, I don't believe you ever said when you posted that he had passed, what the reason was, or if you had to put him down for a reason, so perhaps someone or you guys on here can say what happened.
Technical difficulties🤪 I edit videos on my phone right now and it limits what I can do. I was having issues adding the music in. I’ll have to keep working at it to see if I can figure it out.
Also, doesn’t TH-cam sometimes edit other people’s music out of videos based on copyright issues? I’ve heard that before. I’m not sure how far they go with that.
It's confusing to me that you describe horses as being "out of" a stallion. That phrase is generally reserved for animals born to the same mare. Horses related to the same stud are "by" him. Half siblings are born to the same mare, while those animals born to the same stallion are just " by"...not considered "half brothers/sisters . Is it different for Foxtrotters? Gorgeous haul! Can't wait to see results in the future!
I grew up in the Midwest. A lot of people here say that a particular horse is “out of” a stallion. It’s not technically correct, but it’s a commonplace phrase around here. It is a tad misleading sometimes because, depending on how it’s used in a sentence, you’re not quite sure what the speaker is saying. But I’ve gotten used to hearing it.

I can’t think of anything more fun than riding in the back seat of a car with a baby horse. Adorable!
Wauw the golden palomino was my dream horse, when I was a young girl. And those two are a dream!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
He is gorgeous! 26 and still going strong 💪
Me too!
We've traveled with a variety of animals in our vehicles, goats, lambs, ducks, even a calf. You do get the strangest looks from people as you're going down the highway, especially when your goat sticks his head out the passenger window.
I used to have a pet pig, he loved riding in the car and the looks we would get at traffic lights was priceless 🤣

Yes, that is exactly what happened with the owners.
Thanks so very much for sharing this backstory. There was a period of time when I wasn’t receiving your videos even though I was subscribed to your channel. This was such an amazing story! Do you still have these horses? I’m trying to figure out who they are in the pasture 🤔
Incredible!! I'm very excited for you guys and the future of your farm!
Thanks so much!!
Absolutely stunning horses!
04:40 - cut the crap - that foal's in 7th heaven !. That wee-lassie probably made sure it got a personal massage for the duration of the entire journey !

I don't know anything about horses but these are so shiny and they look strong and healthy. The little guy is just adorable with his long legs.
Beautiful palomino.
Looks like you hit the jackpot. They are all beautiful. The stallion is magnificent.
Wow, that's so cute 😍 little guy calmed right down though. It's like all kids, car rides sooth them.
You have me laughing with your headline. I'm glad it's a young foal not biting probably trying to nurse.
Congratulations on your new acquisitions. They are really beautiful
I agree with your precautions, the baby would travel more safely in your car.
It's so cool you could keep all of them together!
Stay safe and strong
Back in the 60's we took my goat to the drive-in in the back seat of a 55 ford . She loved it.💋

I'm sure after they have had their feet done and their toes shortened a good bit, they will be able to walk properly again.
They look like a good bunch to get. You've done well. I'm sure the lady misses her horses a lot.
Necessity is the mother of invention. So cute. Reminds me of the time, I was a kid, we brought a huge pig home in our station wagon. Debbie Jay

Great looking horses❤❤❤❤
In theUK we say ‘out of’ the mare, and ‘by’ the stallion.
I was thinking that’s what I had heard too.
Omg i love this
I was set by Rosa String Works
Man those are so beautiful. Please don't ever let those beautiful animals
ever go to slaughter 😢
Oh how exciting!!!!!!
Those r beautiful horse's!!!❤❤❤😊
Hello from Missouri (as well)!! Just wondering the date you got to bring this beautiful stallion home? I have been catching up on your older videos and trying to fix a timeline in my head- lol!! Ty for your stories- I enjoy them!!
Rosa String Works sent me!
I love to watch that colt move! They are all beautiful!
Your Dad sent me. Lol. Love those horses.
Beautiful stallion.
I ❤ your TH-cam channel n love how you take care of your horses n that’s one of my favorite animals is the horse
Some guy at Rosa String Works asked me to say that he sent me. Something about networking. 😁 Thanks! ✌️🌞😎🎻
Haha, I think we have heard of that guy😉
Oh my goodness ❤
That is just AWESOME!

I guess the new trailer needs to be larger with sections.
When you talk about breeding, the foals are 'BY' the stallion and 'OUT OF' whatever mare!!! Thanks
This. And hate to be a noodge--but for heaven’s sake use your seatbelts! All three of you unrestrained in a 1.5-hour trip. Not very smart, guys.
Thanks. Elkhart auctions does that when reading a horse's papers. Has me going, "Huh?". Like how is a foal "out of" the sire? Yikes!
That was so beautiful ❤❤❤❤
Well behaved horses . 👍🪃🇦🇺

are you folks g
to be at the spring show in Ava, MO next month? I'll be there starting my judge's card.
Hahaha, amazing seeing a horse in a truck! 🤣🤣
I thought it was weird when I carried hay in my Tempo.

Yes, sometimes the match won’t work. Seems to happen a lot in older mares also.
What is the difference between a dark Pallamino and a light one, apart from the colour?
I love your channel, watch it all the time, but i really dont know much, if anything about 🐎🐎🤗🙋🏻♀️
Some stills of the colt in the back seat would be a riot online. It'd go viral quickly!!!😅
Thats great .....
Hello from British Columbia Canada

Seat belts?
Not a fan of seatbelts
seatbelts?

No seatbelt laws for trucks in the back seats?!
My daughter saw this video and, with a straight face mainly because her dad uses the back seat in his truck for transport of newborn and very young livestock out of the fields to the barn or vet, asked me if you did not know that part of the truck was for the babies.

What type of horsed to you breed and raise
I wish I wS one of your horses
Whatever happened to the snappy, music intro?

Lol just a mistake on words is all. We have had ALOT of comments on it🤣🫣
