    Thanks for having me on!
    Your channel is geninely underrated! (You gotta do more "I learned Spanish with Duolingo" and stuff 😉 )

      Or he should do more videos like: I learnt "X" language in 7 days"

      Thanks for sharing your time! Haha well if you see a video of my trying to force duolingo into the title now you know why!

    Another great interview dude! The process of learning a language is also a process of learning about motivation and self-awareness, and your guys' content do a great job of showing that.

    The one thing Shane has is that he is representing and inspiring millions of native English speakers who struggle and who are the worst at learning foreign languages.
    So his channel will do well!
    I'm one and I'm onboard.
    Buena Suerte!

    Spain, although "officially" neutral on paper, did indeed help the Axis and had dealings with Hitler. So much so that many Nazis took refuge there at the end of WWII.

      That’s true, of course there was the famous meeting between Franco and Hitler, I guess I should of been clearer with that! Hope you enjoyed the chat though!

      @@ShaneGodliman My nephew in England called his dog 'Franco', which raised eyebrows when he tried to explain to my sister living in Madrid on the bus what the dog was called.

    It's weird to hear that C2 is considered to be a "goal". I totally understand it because it sounds like a huge mountain you have to climb in my target language (Spanish) but then I'm like "wait a minute, I already did that in English and I'm not even _good_ at it". The idea of having achieved sth and then trying to do re-do it differently is so confusing, but encouraging at the same time.

    • @daysandwords
      @daysandwords 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      How do you figure that you're not good at English?
      Most non-native speakers do not reach C2 in English, even Germans and Swedes etc. Of course there are many who do but I would say that most of them finish up at about C1.
