I think the Ashford's house didn't always look the way it looks in the game, but Alfred made it that way during Alexia's 15-year long absence. Alfred was so obsessed with his own sister that he became crazy without her and remodeled the house and hung up that gigantic creepy doll representing Alexia.
Canonically, the residence was actually built in 1994, which means that the building was only four years old during the events of the game. Pretty dilapidated for such a recent construction, eh?
This was the best resident evil game made hands down. Epic. Still have it on Dreamcast exclusive. I wish the would've kept this style of music on the new games they were always good with their piano themes.
Very clocktower with that continuous piano sequence. So many cool little parts to pick out from this piece. I feel like the cv ost had so many under appreciated earworms in its own right.
This track is to me is very scary and sinister your in the Ashfords private residence this is very haunting track your looking into the window of Alfred's insanity
Same the way it was set up made it seem like it was some type of end game area. Accompanied with the large doll hanging from the ceiling really sends chills down your spine. It sucks this quality is overlooked for its less redeemable qualities.
And the Bandersnatches in this area made the game even more tense. It felt like Bandersnatches were going to be regular enemy from now on. (1 breaks through the window as soon as you solve the puzzle that leads to this area, 2 were in the courtyard of this area and 1 in the dining room.) I expected a lot more lol.
I always thought CV would be the finale for the series. The game had a nice deep-rooted story about the origins of Umbrella and the Ashford family and did a good job with slowly revealing the relationship between Alfred and Alexia and their very unique personalities. It was a good climax to the series and even had quite an impactful message about greediness and power and where it gets you (based on what happens to the Ashford twins). Rather than going out on top with the series they kept pimping out games to the point where the storylines and the classic characters (Chris, Leon, Ada, etc) are old, tired, and uninspired. CV will always be the way I’ll personally remember the series ending. To hell with what came after it.
This song is a perfect example of how to set atmosphere
Code: Veronica has the most amazing soundtrack.
It did. Amazing game. Wish they would remake it.
You're rigth!
fr facts
💯
I wish Capcom would do a Remake of Code Veronica, like they did with Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4.
This song reminds me of mixing a Dracula soundtrack with a Michael Myers and Exorcist soundtrack.
I definitely hear it!
I do think that's what it was already going for here.
I hear it with the piano, harpsichord, and random slams.
Fuckin A man on POINT!
This song is perfection.

As a fan since RE1 i give props too code veronica, awesome music and superb story. 🤙🏻
Awesome music, incredible game. The first Resident Evil that I completed since Nemesis in 2003
I just wish this place was a bit bigger. It was an extremely creepy area
This music sounds like this was the home of Dracula or something... And the exterior of the house with the creepy statues also makes me think that.
Resident Evil turns into Castlevania
Best camera angle ever proper dingy place as well
Back then when I got to this place, I was almost too scared to continue playing the game.
Same the way it was set up made it seem like it was some type of end game area. Accompanied with the large doll hanging from the ceiling really sends chills down your spine. It sucks this quality is overlooked for its less redeemable qualities.
Pussies

The best of any soundtrack in resident evil.
Very Clock Tower-ish.
I want that massive doll. She was gorgeous!
I love this fucking song man
Thanks, just long enough. I'll use this to motivate me to hurry to the bus stop and catch the bus in time.

Well it is actually the last RE game with fixed camera angles as storyline. (Other games with fixed camera angles are remake and prequel)
Yeah and RE 4 is not included on the real RE games.
@@White927 Thank you.
Best song in the game
I remember thinking how each one could've been killed sleeping in their beds since the top of them can collapse on it.
The perfect horror/thriller soundtrack.
Sounds like the exorcist
This track makes me think of vampires.
true beauty
Sounds like the exorcist movie
Amazing!
Ficou muito boa , clima de terror mesmo ... parabens
The Dolls remind me Haunting ground !
Halloween yeah!
I know this is going for a Halloween + Dracula thing but every time I heard the organs in this area it made me think of the Mario 64 boss theme
Sounds like Tubular Bells
New Kendrick Lamar Drake diss beat sounds a bit like this, HARD
Best song ever in video games 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🔥🔥🔥
not a song
Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series.
Or Richter Belmont from the Castlevania series
Hello Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, The Exorcist called, they want their song back
"Capcom vs Snk 2 Ost True Spirit"
Kkkkkkkkkk vai pesquisar e se surpreenda
Cowboy bebop episodio 11
Normally, it sounds too slow. On 1.25 speed, it is too fast paced. Perhaps the original speed is 12.5.
Consigo ouvir semelhança com devil may cry na parte q dante esta tipo numa masmorra Da missao acho q 5
The movie extended pls
private residence? rather haunted residence 😂
