The way every reviewer criticizes Carol's ANC baffles me. Coz it's just as good as almost every other budget earbuds and even better than a lot that cost much more. Thing's people mis-categorize the Carol, it costs 30$ but everyone expects it to compete with 100$ earbuds from anker, sounpeat or realme and likes, but compare it to QCY, Baseus and likes, it delivers quiet a lot and especially in sound, even the Melobuds cannot come close. So remove the lack of fancy features and App, The Carol is hard to beat. People just like to find faults in this but to me this earbuds is almost perfect.
ANC is above average in it's price range, multipoint is superb feature, but sonically they are not even close to best in their price range - unles you're a total bass-head. My phone has tons of bass by default and with Carol I already hear distortions in lows.
@@FeroVlkolinsky KZ is a bassy brand and they don't even hide it lol, so you can tune down your phone a little bit and solve everything. The sound on the Carol is superb or so I've heard as my own hasn't arrived yet. Btw the last low priced earbuds i used that shocked me is the Mibro AC1 which is kinda much better QCY HT05 (with all the hype it got) with it's spatial sound. It's just soo clean and whole, soothing too, i loved it. If the Carol is even 10% better than the Mibro AC1 then I'll say it delivers more than it charged. And with the 42db ANC on the Mibro being very strong for low frequencies, the Carol should be stronger with 55db on low frequencies of course. I wouldn't expect it to cancel human voice and vehicle honks for this price lol. People just expect Sony/Bose level stuff on something that's less than ⅒ the price
@@FeroVlkolinsky Ya. I have my iPad mini set to flat for almost all my listening and with that setting these sound quite nice. The higher range is what surprises me a bit. Nice and clean. I feel they compete sonically in their price range but I realize that everyone hears differently 🙂
@@philipm.4738 my phone is bassy with all my (dozens of) headphones but no other pair distorts in bass range. My HiBy player in flat mode plays quite nice with these, but others (e.g. mentioned Moondrop Space Travel) do much better.
@@philipm.4738 Yeah honestly everyone listens differently. Some people just listen to find what's wrong about something and not what's done very right lol. Btw, I don't trust that part he said Airpods Pro clones have better ANC coz those things wack af. No way that's true
