I have learned not to tell people about my careful spending...I get smirky looks... maybe I sound like I'm bragging...but I won't give up my 79 year old habit of intentional spending. Thanks for this great channel, sarah
I agree with your comments. While you were talking, I thought back to my first teaching job (private) at 22. I remember an older woman saying to me that I wasn't managing my money. What she didn't realize was that I wasn't making a living wage. Paying to fix an old car, paying a student loan, rent. I didn't have a credit card (thankfully). I lived penny to penny but loved teaching. Eventually I got a job at a public school and bought my first car when I was 35. I think a lot of people are in the same bind I was. It is definitely good to try and put yourself in someone else's shoes. I can honestly say that as a little girl I hated money (I kinda think I still do). Being debt free is the way to be!
People nowadays roll their eyes when I say that times were tight out of university years ago too. It's a shame that people just don't get proper money mindset
All my money is making 4.5% too 😂 I'm storing 50% of my income every month for future goals. That's separated from my sinking funds and my emergency funds. I love doing the math ..is the math mathing??? Nobody tells you how much fun it is after you get going❤
Great video, Sarah, with lots of valuable reminders. The last, especially, is the one I bet many, like me, need to work on. And also, major kudos for your really great and not "run-of-the-mill" video topics recently! Many topics I don't recall seeing covered elsewhere, or by others, before.
A lot of the families I work with struggle to pay for basic utilities and food. There's a ton of financial advice out there urging people to save money by buying high quality items instead of cheaper options. This advice comes from a perspective of privilege: it simply assumes that everyone has the means to buy high quality, but they are just choosing not to.
I used to get my son to change my oil. But now he works and goes to full time, so we used Walmart. I told my son the price, and he said it was around $15 more than he charged us, and they checked more stuff.
So do supermarket trolleys, the chair in the waiting room, the plate at the restaurant, the towels at the hotel..........wash your hands often and you'll be okay. God designed us with an immune system for a reason. Cheers from Oz!!
@lmagas-om9dp That might help some people, but I'd still have a problem with it. The nasal "drippings" and "deposits" from the previous readers and the slobber from some of their infants are too gross for me. Many also have coffee stains on the pages. Book stores have all but disappeared around here.

Good evening ❤. Your back ground looks so clean and crisp.
Thank you so much 😊
Amazing post. I took notes. I'm happy to say that I do most of it already, but there were some good reminders there. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
🍁🍂Great tips! Thanks for sharing.🍂🍁
Thank God He blesses us. I would never thank the universe instead.

I can totally relate! I love the end of the month when I can see how much my bank paid ME in interest 😊
Whenever i tithe, God always blesses me with far more.
Thank you! When you buy quality, you invest in your future. ❤
Love your video ❤💐
Thank you for the video
Thanks for watching!
Love your channel. Great content as always.

Thanks so much!! These unusual topics are my favorite yet never seem to get as many views!

Right! Low-income people may be faced with buying a little of the cheapest option, or totally doing without the item.

I loved the ending to this show, thank you so much for sharing ❤❤❤
❤❤❤Sara is the Greatest 😮😮😮😊😊😊
Marvelous money mindset
Hello from Germany 🙂
Great tips. Quality shoes helps me to keep working my better paying jobs. Luckily income paying off the snowball debts & saving too.😊
When someone gets in front of me at a checkout line, I just ask, "Am I invisible?" 🙀
I get a bit snarky and say I see you are overdue for an optometrist appointment since you didn't see me standing here. 😂

Most should also see an audiologist because they don't seem to hear me, either. There are no seeing eye dogs in sight.
Great video- so many good messages!❤
Great video! Thanks.... Wow!!
Thank you
Great video but the universe gives us nothing, only God provides for us.
Question: is the IRA 8k limit for each one? Or total (I have 3 from different employers).😊
I believe total but I would suggest speaking to a financial advisor for clarity
8k over 50 for roth ira. Some other ira's don't have limits. Hope that helps
In fear I bought a newer car (loosing hrs at work & afraid I'd be fired).
Protect your privacy. You will save. Say no to invasive technology.
Used books have cooties! 🤮

Paranoia is expensive. How many people do you think have handled the books you pay too much for at Barnes & Noble?
Suggestion? Put your used books in a sealed freezer bag and put them in the deep freeze for a few days. Would that help?
