Just wrote all of these suggestions down on my dry erace board! I just finished a job for Zondervan doing some art and now my big goal is to start writing a book, actually already started it I just needed some more guidance so thank you thank you thank you. My husband and I watch all your videos and laugh at you in a good way! 🤣👍🏻👍🏻
Love these steps! I have had a book idea in mind for years now and really have not found a way to get myself started. I have my idea/question. Now maybe I can get started with my Idea Notebook. Thanks, Jon for putting this video out and sharing your process!
Love the Ginger Bread Trail analogy. I do something similar on a micro scale with the sermons I prep and preach each week. Thanks for the great content...
I'm so grateful I found this again! I'd asked on your Facebook wall to share these again but..m ya know. 😉 Super glad I found this. Everything at the right time!
What question am I willing to spend 2 years answering? Create an idea notebook (Evernote) Put the ideas on notecards then on a wall in office… look for patterns in the ideas Start to write even if it’s a terrible first draft… write so fast that fear can’t catch up. Edit like crazy (chop everything that is not helping the narrative)
I just discovered your channel and this is very helpful
What a messy, inefficient, normal person kind of process. It's PERFECT. THIS...I can do! Thanks.

Hey Jon at what point in this process are you working on or completing your book proposal?
