This scene is an honest depiction of how some many adults sabotage themselves and then blame others or feel someone else wronged them due to their own actions.

I don't think Blanca was bad. Blanca was a new house mother trying to give her children a sense of stability they'd never known. Her rules made 100% sense. Papi didn't want to hurt Blanca. He just didn't know how to trust people, still trying to hustle to survive. In the end, Blanca did the only thing she could. As we saw later, Papi wound up being treated like a doormat by Candy and Lulu when they started the house of ferocity. And he was more than happy to go back to Blanca and endeavor to live a more honest life, and learn to trust others enough to do what he knew was the best thing.
Blanca was never painted as the "bad one", she told all of her children the rules. Papi knew the rules he was even warned by Damon before everything happened.
they never painted blanca as the bad one? blanca just realized how the decision to kick papi out affected everybody else. she just has extreme compassion and realized it's not worth breaking apart a bond so clearly strong. it's not "they made her out to be a bad person for this" more so "she started feeling bad after realizing how bad it will be for papi" nobody helped her think about papi it just means she clearly cared for him
Papi was a hurt puppy who didn't trust yet. I think when he saw the depth of how much Blanca truly cared for him, and how hurt she was when he acted so selfish, he realized he did her dirty.

Exactly! Just own up to a mistake and ask for grace. Blanca would have been tough on him but likely she would not have thrown him out. Being slick in the mouth when you have done wrong and do not have a pot to piss in nor a window to throw it out of is insane.

There’s this part where he says he’s an equal opportunity lover, which I think implies that he’s bi, other than that his sexuality isn’t really talked about

pissed me off that the show painted blanca as the bad one after this, but she had every right to do what she did

While Blanca was right to have strict rules, the last thing Papi needed was to be thrown back on the street. He needed love and care, badly.

Ricky definitely folded too easily.
Ricky is a very sneaky character, I never liked him from the start. I only gained a little sympathy for him when pray tell died.
Fr almost like he wanted Papi to leave

What was he supposed to do😂? He didn't wanna disrespect Blanca, and she made her rules VERY CLEAR btw. I felt bad for Papi, but this is on him.
