It looks like a fine way to spend part of an afternoon, learning how to make soapstone bowls and such :) Kenya has so much soapstone. I'm sad I didn't bring any home with me for carving, since it's quite expensive where I live. You did well with your bowls.

What kind of dye and paint is used? I have to repair a small statue that was knocked over. What kind of wax is used to make it shiny? Thanks.
