It's weird for society to continue to push sex as a playful and fun thing to do with random people. I'm in the generation where sex is viewed to be meaningless, but that's not how it works. Even if you are putting off your emotions from someone while having sex, your spirit is still being affected. Emotions don't have anything to do with spirit. Which explains the whole concept, of taking care of your temple. I am 22 years old and I have been celibate for a year because every time I had sex with a man, it wouldn't feel right. It will feel that my spirit was being torn apart or I feel disconnected with myself. To fast forward to now, I am feeling better. I have my life in control. You know when I actually heard you compare your energy to a bank account, I had an aha moment. I’ve always understood the concept of exchanging energy. But for some reason when I heard it this way it made me want to be a little more vigilant and discerning of who I’m exchanging it with. And it makes me think, does this person have any thing to add to my energy account. And how much am I willing to let them take from mine?
Energetically the masculine has to provide physically in order for the feminine to thrive. A lot of the dysfunction today happens because too many women are living too much in their root chakra a masculine energy (when that’s not their divine place) and depleting their life force on top of it.
