@@judioregan4210 To me, this depends on the dog. Some dogs I've had were okay to let in, some not, but I loved them all. If I don't get my sleep, I'm pretty useless all day. My dog and I can always play in my bed after I'm awake.

It's that big smile and waggy tail that gets me every time, even first thing. I suppose when getting a dog you're investing a helluva lot more of your time, but it is so worth it. 😊
We are on our 3rd Golden, (and last I might add. Just getting to old to lose another one.) All 3 had different personalities. Our second one used to jump on the couch when I was laying down on it. With my back to the back of the couch he would start at my feet and slide himself behind me. When he was all the way to my shoulders, he would turn on his side and put his feet on my back and push me off the couch. Loved all 3 of them. Enjoy this site and watching your pup.

I wish TH-cam was around when my Papillon Cordy was alive. She would have had millions of subscribers, I have no doubt. She was our Head of Household, we did nothing without her blessing. She was a tiny, beautiful genius that lived to boss us around. We miss her everyday, and life has never been the same. When we some time later got another female Papillon Cordy gave her blessing by bringing the baby new toys on three different occasions. I buy all her toys on Amazon, so I had proof that I hadn’t bought those toys. And the baby was too young to go for walks, so she couldn’t have stolen them. One of the toys was a replica of the baby’s favorite toy!
I liked the way Bailey approched Mommy first with his stare and then head tilt and then determined that she was going too get up and start pulling covers off her and then with his cute doggy bark. He succeded

Mine has a routine: first he’ll do a shake of his fur. If that doesn’t work, then he’ll yawn. Next step is to do what we call the “toro” routine, in which he snorts and digs his rear paws into the carpet, just like a bull. Final stage is barking. Takes about 10 minutes from beginning to end. We love our dog but sleeping in late is no longer an option.
"All right, human. Time to get up. Wakey-wakey! There's grub for you to serve. There's dog parks for you to take me to. There's vets and baths to be avoided! Time is truly wasting! On your feet!"
These Goldies are UNREAL, it is almost like there was a mold that made them all the same. My beloved Bella used to act the same way, we miss her immensely.
