Something that worth a mention : after many years of having just the coupe and cabrio versions, Norev is releasing the iconic W124 model in Sedan and Estate. And they started with Sedan version in both 230E (L4) and 500E (V8). (both will have normal and dealer packaging) I ordered the 500E in dealer packaging and i wait in April for the 230E in normal packaging. And i hope the Estate will be a 250 D like they showed 2 months ago in International Toy Fair in Nuremberg. Not sure how these models will do in US and A but here in Europe they will be very very popular.
Great video, you’re getting there. My last comment was based on research that has led me to a conclusion. It all boils down to licensing,tooling,manufacturing and distribution. One company has capitalized on these necessities. I won’t mention names because it’s not my intention to throw shade of any kind. I see you and your channel as being that of a purest and also one who appreciates exquisite quality and detail. These use to be hallmarks of certain brands. The continued use of these brand names is where I have a problem. I’ve found and heard ( from distributors) that the largest country of manufacturing is China ( I have no problem with China) as they simply produce what they are contracted to do. To me this means that the hobby will lean more to vintage and a term I’ve coined as a “ re-pop” I personally feel that the use of the so-called familiar brands is a form of deception. I look forward to your up coming side by side ( regardless of brands).
They will. They recently purchased Shelby Collectables, which has been selling the Gt40’s for years. Hopes are that they will improve the overall detail of the models or maybe re-brand them as GMP with the desired improvements.
I’m struggling to decide whether to get the 1/18 looksmart or BBR Ferrari 499p. It’s a £200 price difference and it’s hard to justify when they look very similar. But I need a comparison video between the two to really see the details.
I have both. I also have the Bburago version, but that's not a fair comparison to Looksmart and BBR, obviously. I would make a video. However, that's not the type of content I make.

I wish they start reproducing the first Ford GT40 in 1/18.

Burago 499p is going for $120 seems very high to me, is that the going price?
That is the going price. I would be surprised if there is a small price drop as time goes by.
