I drained away the whey for one whole day to get a solid yogurt curd for this recipe, the bread came out super soft, some sour taste plus extra raisins that I added which make it taste really yummy .
Can I use olive oil instead of butter for a healthy version & olive oil or any vegetable oil, what is the measurement(ml.) for it? Thank you so much & am much appreciated! 😊

I baked this loaf, it was a good dough, a beautiful bake, however, the beauty was only skin-deep. The bread was very soft, but that was the only redeeming quality. It just doesn't seem to have enough yogurt in it to call it "yogurt bread". It has an equal amount of milk. I used all fresh ingredients, but nothing much came through. If I were to try something like this again, I would certainly adjust the recipe and use more yogurt. It's simply my opinion. Thank you for the video.
Between the butter and full fat yogurt, it could have an effect on the dough's rise. Put the butter in after mixing the dough well. Give it a rest, then add in butter.

To put that into perspective the U.S. standards recommend no more than 8%. And 8% gives a very sweet loaf. I would half that and still expect a sweet bread. But, that is bakers choice. And, shaping with a rolling pin? You really are a cake baker! Chuckling here. Standard bread shaping is so much easier, but again, there are no rules. Thanks for the enjoyable watch of a nicely made loaf.

You'd have to increase the amount of liquid in the recipe bc whole wheat flour needs more hydration than regular white. It doesn't matter what kind of liquid, but it needs to be given time to be absorbed. Check out other videos, tutorials, in how to sub or use whole wheat flour in bread recipes. Good luck. ❤

I baked it @ 350F for30-35 minutes. I used a 8.5 inch by 4.5 inch pan. Perfect size.

If you're doing this by hand, the 1st kneading, before the butter, would take about 10 mins. Another 10 - 15 to incorporate the butter.

using 6g yeast for 280g flour is too much ?
it is dry active yeast, not instant yeast. I tried this recipe today with 4 gram instant yeast. I worked well.
