I love that you tell us viewers to stop watching and go out and ride. When I’m being super lazy it really gets me motivated to get my ass off the couch! Zach, you have really pushed me to do a lot more than I used to. I switched to fixed because of you and I’ve pedaled my 300 pound ass a few hundred miles in the past few months all thanks to your motivation. -Crucial Matt
Not malaysian people just malay. Malaysians are the citizens of malaysia regardless of race. Malays are a race group in singapore. Love the video! Im from Singapore and trying to get a bike to strengthen my legs because of knee pains, and your videos provide a good perspective.
Hey man, just sending out positive vibes! I have been loving you videos for while now and just wanted to say thanks my dude. Kero having fun on your travels
It's Chinese, Malay and Indian, not Malaysian. 😂 6:45 Malay is a race/ethnicity, Malaysian is a nationality. What we have are malay Singaporeans. (Yes we do have malaysians too but when talking about singaporean demographic you're referring to Singaporean malays not malaysians.)
You should come back to the us and give your opinions about Chicago, mainly because there are alot of fixed gear riders that have nothing but a love for riding and literally are fans of you
That community is way to large hahah cool. Im done hanging out with that much, I like riding alone now and hanging out with just the bike alone more. Comes with age I guess..
Ave Maldea!! I want a custom Ave Maldea fixed gear and can’t figure out how to get started. A Reasonably Dangerous video on Ave Maldea would be amazing!!
I'm legitimately getting jealous of those Singaporian fixed gear communities and people ovet there after watching this video. It's so unfortunate that Fixed gear communities over here in Korea aren't that enthusiastic, pure nor honest(In my opinion) as how they like over Singapore, Malaysia or even in Japan. But nevertheless, I hope you have plan to visit Korea as well in the future, Zach!
@@lingyanglim4706 Hmm, I guess what I meant was that, some of them rides fixed gears(or just bicycles in general) only to show off and 'Flex', not focusing on actual cycling activities(Ride em, Fix em, Hang out with em), which makes me genuinely sad and wonder how the hell did cycling scene become like this in Korea
Hey Zach; I just hit Powerball. Let those guys in that hard to find bike store you spoke of previously, know that I'm ready to make a cash offer on their entire inventory. Thanks in advance :)
Hi Zach, would you mind writing the names of the 3 shops you visited? I couldn't understand the name of the last one you mentioned and i tried something similar sounding "kodomiko".
"There were just _so many_ people that I just ended up giving everybody 69.420 Fixie Points." Zach, you really need to be careful about awarding FP willy-nilly like that or you're going to upset the market.
Disadvantages of fixed gear riding in a country with a lot of slopes Crashing into kids every half an hour or so Crashing into motorbikes Almost crashing into a pile of garbage Not being able to walk normally for a week Steep slopes too heavy too climb Lesson of the day (That all happened in a day) Get brakes, have a better gear ratio, don't be too brave
Was a little apprehensive when buying this with the few negative reviews on here, but this was exactly the kind of bike I was looking for. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxn_jUDSlprMIeubd9rHdEAnv59nKfjcKv I plan to ride it on paved roadways and trails, and wanted a "Grocery Getter" so to speak. After receiving it (without any damage), I had it out of the box, and fully assembled in about 30 minutes. I did not have to look at the manual, and I'm glad because I did look at it after I got it together, and it looks like it's a manual for several different styles. I did have to adjust the breaks and gear shifters, but that's been my experience with every bike I've owned. There was one review in particular that made me nervous, saying it was not meant for someone 6'4", it was too short. Well I'm 6'5" (230lbs) with a 36" inseam, and can tell you this bike fits perfectly, granted the seat is in it's highest safe position. I've only had it for 3 days so far, and if things change I will update my review, but I put 26 miles on it so far, and it rides like a dream. Very comfortable seating position. The front suspension is good for the occasional rock or bump you hit on asphalt, but this bike is not made to be taken off road, and I'm OK with that. I was particularly happy to see the wheels were trued perfectly. I was expecting to have to take them in and have them trued at a local bike shop, as I've had to do with all my past bike purchases, but in this case they were already in great shape. For the money, this is an awesome bike.
It feels good to be back and making videos. I wish I could say the same for my mic. Let's get some F's in the chat for my mic.

What's the difference between a Malay Singaporean and an Indonesian Singaporean
Danish Wistara malay is an ethnicity, indonesian is a citizenship. there are no indonesian singaporeans, only indonesians living in singapore.

The Wabi sounds great but I’ve got a Lynsky titanium frame and I think it combines all the best qualities of steel and carbon fiber.
Great breakdown on the city's bikability. Very helpful!
Im glad I ride a fixie , as an old codger , best of all good fun
