    First heard this when I was going to college in 2012 and got me through - with the permission of Allah--through some tough times alhamduillah.
    May Allah reward Ustadh Hassan and make this lecture heavy on his scale of good deeds on the day of judgment.

    Just speaking from someone whose studied this in university.... I dont think these emotions have to necessarily be in the order in which he has mentioned. You can be sad about things dealing with past, present and future. ie. sad about how you handled a sin, its present and future results of that sin. Anxious about future punishment and grief as well. These emotions can surface due to so many reasons and have no chronological orders to them wa Allahu alim. Good reminder though.

    since I do not know arabic, I have memorised this dua in english .but just wanted to ask if i need to memorise it in arabic aswell?

      Memorise it in Arabic and learn the meaning in English, I don’t know if you’ve already as is 8 years later SubhanAllah I hope you’re doing well though alhamdulilah

    Ma sha Allah can we change the dua if ua female,by saying daughter of your slave insted of son of your slave?
