    Absolutely love those Brass Bells on the Cab Cars. They sound so much better than the boring Steel Bells you constantly hear nowadays. It's a real shame all the Cabs here had their controls deactivated and 8473 these days is so hard to come across.

    Glad you liked it. I have to go through more Hi-8 tapes that I have taken over the years and will post them too. I'll be home in September(Midlothian) and plan on taking more CTA EL action & Metra on the old C&NW line, but in HDV!

    The Oak Street bridge is scheduled to be replaced in the next couple of years. The bridge is actually an old turntable, flipped upside down and hoisted into place. You can see its history at oakstreetbridge . com.
    Great video! One thing - Metra trains are called "dinkies" or "suburbans" on the BN, not "scoots"!
