@@finalcallaviation Your description says otherwise, and I have to agree with regard to cabin crew. I've been flying Cathay for years (since the early 2000s), and I've never had a bad batch of crew. However, after finally having flown them again in 2022 7 times, 2 times did I have a bad batch of crew that were just downright rude. I'm guessing this is because a lot of senior pursers have left Cathay due to salary cuts.
I always transit in Tokyo Haneda or Narita whenever i m flying to HKG from JFK....! 16+hrs non stop just way too long to cope with, imagine even flying SQ from JFK to SIN straight for 18+hrs
@@finalcallaviation I been on Singapore airlines flight 23 from JFK-SIN SQ23 it was awesome and I’m gonna be flying on Cathay pacific a350-900 on CX843 On June 5 2023
The longest flights are either the two SQ NYC-SIN flights or NZ’s new NYC-AKL flight. UA has been flying EWR-HKG for years (I’ve flown this route several times as well as the SQ nonstop).
Ok and informational, overlooking grammatical errors. Videos always crack me up when short passengers with at least half a foot of space between their knees and the seat back pocket complain about lack of leg room. At six foot three, used to wedging my knees between seats in trans-continental cattle class, I find it comical. Oh well. I've yet to fly Cathay Pacific, and hope to fly it soon.
They really treat you well on Cathay. I just did that trip/route and it was really a wonderful experience
There's a reason why Cathay is among world's best.

It's my dream to fly the SQ flight to NYC but being this long in the air might be tough for people who don't enjoy it.

This is by distance not by duration.
@@Leon_likesplanes Doesn’t change regardless, all of the routes above are still longer than JFK-HKG
@@EliseToole No, JFK-HKG is longest when it via the Atlantic.

Hey, just wondering, do all economy seats have controllers to play with? I'm flying to Boston in a few days from Hong Kong and is wondering.
Towards MNL I will take CX SQ BR JL NH KE over PR from JFK/MNL. Knew this because of how my mother have to deal with PR staff. CX staff helpful
I don't know why you're complaining about legroom when you're so short.
