Would you be able to provide any rough number of cost? Moving into a very similar layout and absolutely love your work here!

Cabinets 14-16k, appliances - 3800, granite - 4400, lights, lumber, sheetrock - ~1500-2000 (2016 pricing, lumber and sheetrock are way up)

@@jkadventures3082 hey I was referring to this video again for our raised ranch and noticed your reply! Thanks so much for responding and for the info! We're taking the slow approach, so knowing the costs helps us a ton with planning it out!

So the wall were non load bearing? I have the same layout in out upcoming closing. I wanted to get rid of that dividing wall.

@@meso4669 100% certain the wall between living room & kitchen was load bearing (they had to secure it and reinforce the attic) the side wall on the dinning room side likely not load bearing. I have a similar layout and side was not load bearing the front is tho.

I have a raised ranch too and have thought about doing built ins in dining room and getting rid of the china cabinet, I'm not a full open floor plan fan would like to just leave the front wall that you see when you open the front door, love how this turned out, must have cost a fortune though based on some pricing I've been doing, prior owner put a window in the dining room and took out a slider :(. I want to put it back

Great job! We have a raised ranch and trying to figure out how to add a pantry without closing in the kitchen too much.

I've been playing around with the idea of building a walk in pantry from the kitchen door out to the deck and opening the dining room out to the deck again which the previous owner closed and put a window in :(. We have a 3 season room out there now.

I uploaded this a few months ago, but apparently Fleetwood Mac didn't like me using their music. So I had to redo it, and repost it :/

What were the finished dimensions of the room?
This is very close to what we want our Reno to be but I’m afraid our space is smaller.

House is 32 front to back, and the opening is 14' wide, so the kitchen is about 20-21 backsplash to backsplash.
