Great story. I would not be surprised if these actions in various forms are happening right now in this world. Star Trek was not so farfetched as we believed. What I particularly liked about this story is that despite the evil forces that are currently at work in this present time, there are also people who have been devoted to working to ensure that the evil forces does not win by using the new powers for evil and control, but instead, seeking to ensure that harmony is the new way forward. On another note, what has happened to the wise Lion who brought Rex to the hospital?

I need to know where a lion came from in the middle of the night in Chicago? And why is there a vet in the hospital. And more importantly what happened to lion.
There are smart animals and dumb animals, kind and cruel animals,, just like us. There is no point in believng they are all the same any more than we are all the same! We should, however, be as carefu about how we treat them or approach them, Neither fear nor hysteria ae right when we have intelligene to guide us. Slowly the time will come when we will be able to tell the difference.

What isn't sci-fi is that I discovered the environment, the events, and the processes at the DNA nevel for how multicellular life approximately 550 Million years ago to initiate the Cambrian Exlosion, and a few additional factors for how life emerger on Earth. I am looking for some help to write the manuscript. I have all the information. A car crash and heart attack makes it difficult to do it all on my own.
