This MV is incredibly impactful. It was the last release by the band with their company whom they were engaged in a lawsuit with for years. Basically they had what amounted to a slave contract where they were not paid for their work. The MV is symbolic of the struggle to be free and to be how you want to be - all the characters are “outcasts” and in the end find a space to be their real selves

Those vocals always hit me in the feels, dammit Rose! For me it's finding love in all kinds of situations and realizing the beauty of it. Your Narnia could be just fighting against societal norms and finding the joy of that love in unexpected places.
Pinocchio being the love and joy of creation, the fallen angel still being worthy of love and the couple wearing black and white seemingly opposite but still finding love for each other.
Absolutely love The Rose! Awesome vocalists and musicians! They also have cute senses of humor! Woosung is phenominal!
Thank you for this reaction, Roscoe! When you've listened to them a while you'll be able to tell - Dojoon has the smoother and mellower voice; he also does their high note ad libs and harmonies. Woosung has the raspier voice, more noticeable in the higher, "belting" passages. Love that Jaehyeong and Hajoon are more present in the vocals here - they also have beautiful voices.
The video simply shows stories about love... in every kind of love: Pinochio (the kid with the grandpa, he was a puppet and became a kid), the fallen angel with the girl that probably rapresent The beauty and the beast, and the two boys because The rose support very much the lgbt community.

This comeback was my first exposure to The Rose.
I always viewed this song as society being the beast and that beauty was the different types of love depicted in the video. I always saw it as love is never wrong no matter what society might think.
The boy and Grandfather type I saw as familial love.
The fallen angel I saw as maybe some that had done things in their past but they are trying to be a better person.
The 3rd I always saw as 2 men obviously representing same sex relationships.
Maybe I am wrong on these but that was the message I took from this song/video.

Here is 1 thing about The Rose - they aren't going to tell you about the meaning of their songs - they want you to open your mind and you can interpret in the way you want.

Now about this MV - yes this was the last song that they did for the company that they had the lawsuit to terminate their contract so this could be why the video has too many fairy-tale references- they (the company not The Rose) just tried to jam everything into one last video 🤡🥸🤪🙃
