I used to spend a few weeks each summer in union growing up, on the Carroll farm. They were my grandmothers cousins.
I recently learned the fam was sold to a winery and while I'm sad they're gone, I'm happy to know the house and barns are still being used.
One of her aunts was a librarian for a very long time there as well, I believe her name was Ann Williams. That was her maiden name tho I honestly
Don't recall what her married name was anymore sadly.
My great grandfather was a Williams
From union and went to Harvard - he ended up being a mechanical engineer on the Panama Canal. A really impressive guy - he lived into his 90s.
It's a stunning town, I've driven thru several times over the years recently and so much of it still remains untouched.
