I tried to work at a center where the ratio for 2s was 12:1! That’s absolutely NOT safe at all! That’s too many kids to place with one teacher when they’re that young. I don’t care what the regs say! I think the state needs to revaluate that.
Your content has been super great! I've reached out to you before and thankfully you responded. I am so close to finally opening my in home daycare, it's been a bit of a headache but hoping for the best! Thank you so much!!
Hi Myra. CA regulations are almost the same as my state (Maryland). Only difference we are not required to check and notar infants status every 15 min. Thanks for still posting Daycare information ❤️💕
Thank you for watching!!🤍 Are you required to keep sign in and sign out logs? I heard it's about to become mandatory here 🤷♀️ I always kept them regardless but I know a few providers that don't
@@MayraMartinezxo yes it’s mandatory here. I would have still done it if it weren’t. I feel parents can be so funny at times and it’s good to always keep a paper trail ☺️
Thank you for this video, so informative! I’ll be turning in my application for license at the end of this month & I have definitely been nervous about passing my first inspection. Can u make a video of advice managing Covid-19 protocols and regulations…things that work and what don’t? I work for a licensed preschool in Central CA and we’ve had to make changes also. Just wondering the differences for a home day care.
Thank you gor this video and the great information!❤ I only have one question if im renting a home do i have to asked permission to my landlord to open a small family day care , im afraid they'll say no😔 I've called my county no response yet
omg ur so pretty! love how informative this video is! I really love your video! I enjoyed watching it, I will continue to support your channel!💖😊 btw I’m a fellow TH-camr in Korea hope we can stay connected 💖
Hello, very useful video! I'm also live in CA and I was interested in starting a small family daycare. Now CA only offers online orientation due to Covid but I haven't sign up yet. Because I would like to know after you complete the orientation online, is there an expired date for the orientation certificate? (such as how long it lasts), and when you need to finish the rest of things on time or what's next step after you complete your online orientation? Thank you in advance!
Girl same! The analyst who preformed my inspection said it was a big no-no but my actual analyst said it was okay as long as I took it out as soon as the kid was asleep. Prime example of the "interpretation" issue 😐

Thank you for sharing. I'm originally from Cali but moved to Texas. I like to hear what others states required.

Hi mayra, does your fingerprints have to be done before you turn in your application?
Thank you ma . For sharing all this

So Helpful. Thank you!
This may sound silly but what do you do when you have to use the bathroom? Do you tell your kids you’re going potty & leave them unattended?

Thanks for all the information but why did you decide to stop? Looked like you were doing a great job.
I wanted to know this as well
So useful! Thank you for breaking this down!!
I’ve gotten mixed reviews on allowing children to have wubbanubbs (pacifiers w/ hanging stuffed animals). Did your analyst specify that with you?
Girl same! The analyst who preformed my inspection said it was a big no-no but my actual analyst said it was okay as long as I took it out as soon as the kid was asleep.
