I made a mased potato today. Large chunks, minimal water is what I did. I heated my bowl with hot water then mashed the taters in the bowl with butter and garlic. Seasoned then splashed milk to set it. Worked well for only one potato with minimal mess. You can turn the bowl with a fork and get really good results.
Ahh they look so good. I just made your Dutch apple pie today and I’m so serious and not over exaggerating when I say everyone went crazy over it they were all like “WOW” “THIS IS PERFECT” “10/10 Nena you did soooo good” saying everything was PERFECT and I used your pie crust recipe too so thank youuuu😎❣️I always go to you for recipes cause I know they’re going to me soooo good. I first discovered u like 10 years ago when I made your lasagna with my mom and brother I was like 7 years old and ever since then I’ve been watching your videos. It was amazingggg. I love you, you feel like a part of my family, YOURE a part of my life. I’m 17 now but thx for everything and keep making that amazing content of yoursss😎💙Mia is so blessed to have an amazing mom like you.
First time i year about the cream cheese. I'll try it once. I used to add milk but once i tried too just use the water from boiling and i think that's better. If you pressure cook boil them then 15min are too long. Pressure cookers are an opinionated choice. Thanks
I'll be honest - if I've got the time to do it, I've stopped boiling potatoes for my mash. I bake them instead. No added water, still nice and fluffy. But boy, you gotta have the time to do it that way. (Works well with large batches though - 2 full trays in the oven will do me for family Xmas dinner)
I love cream cheese in mashed potatoes! I may bring these for dinner, I can put them in crockpot to keep warm and serve right? Going somewhere with about 20-25 people so trying to make something to bring and not use oven space thanks
I can make all these recipes, the problem I have that I keep asking, is the timing with everything else 😫. Would love to make stuff ahead. Would love a solid schedule.
Those mashed potatoes look good and amazing
I LOVE to use Yukon Gold for my mashed potatoes. I don't peel them and the skin brings a great "texture" to the mashed potatoes!
Yummy!!
yukon gold is the same as russet i think
@@reimuplushno Yukons have yellow colored skins and their texture is less “grainy” than russet potatoes.

Oh absolutely you can! Just make sure you have a little extra milk and butter on hand to add here and there if they start to dry out!
I can make all these recipes, the problem I have that I keep asking, is the timing with everything else 😫. Would love to make stuff ahead. Would love a solid schedule.
If I make the mashed potatoes the day of can they be kept at room temp until it's time to reheat or do they need to be kept in the fridge?
Can I use spring onions instead of chives?
"The only chance you get to season the potatoes from inside out"... proceeds to make mashed potatoes.
Is it ok if I boil potatoes with skins and then peel them?
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
