AIRO®24 from Biancalani is the original dryer for continuous and open-width tumbling treatments of woven, non-woven, and knitted fabrics.
The fabric, driven by an airflow, moves at high speed between the two accumulation chambers and beats against the treatment grills. This is the AIRO® working principle, patented by Biancalani in 1985, which delivers softness, drape, body, volume and surface uniformity to the fabric, increasing at the same time its dimensional stability, and which can be applied also as a drying process.
The Smart-switch (patented by Biancalani) is designed to optimize the whole process, by finely allowing to modulate the mechanical action independently from the drying effect, while the H-Shutter (also patented by Biancalani) adds increased flexibility and energy saving, permitting to vary the width of the treatment channel even asymmetrically, without introducing any moving part inside the channel itself.
