Hi Pat, don't have a true HO track but have a carrera GO with two 90º corners and that comes out at 455mm with the powerbase it about 525mm across. Hope you can fix your controller.

Ah that isn't good, yeah an expensive mistake, you could probably get replacement parts from tru speed, contact them.
