I enjoyed exploring the street art scene in Bristol! Such a cool place~ Btw I've been traveling around, hence the inconsistent upload...So the next vlog might take awhile to edit 😅
It's such a shame we didn't know you were coming, there's a very active and vibrant vegan and animal rights community in Bristol and there's so many more sights to see, also Bristol is more like a big Teddy bear than a real bear, it can be daunting being in the city on your own for the first time but even the occasional party animals who've stayed up partying into the next day are generally very friendly folks. The road where you found Mild Mild West and Koocha Mezze (I completely agree on it being mediocre but some disagree) is called Gloucester road (pronounced 'Gloster'), it goes on for over a mile and is all independent shops and restaurants all the way up and has an interesting and very Bristol story as to why this is. Bath also has a lot of wonderful things to explore and again a strong vegan and animal rights community. If you're still in the UK, or are likely to visit Sweden or go back to America then let me know so I can connect you with the scene and you can have a richer and more fulfilling experience. Local secrets make for great content. Good luck out there!
I don't know why but I get so proud when you enjoy the food here lol😂 If anyone you know visits and they lose their card they can go to a big supermarket chain like Tesco and ask for cashback with a purchase, as in they can buy a drink and ask for say £50 cashback and they can pay for it all on their applepay card. Or a normal atm will work as lots accept contactless ❤
Someone told me that and I did try at all supermarket chains, but they all needed to see the actual card for the cashback 🥹 This was last year though so maybe now they can do cashback with just contactless? And every ATM machine with contactless option I ran into didn’t work with my apple pay for some reason… But besides laundromat, I was happy my apple pay was accepted everywhere else 😁
I've been in Bristol back in 2016 but I barely scratched the surface after watching your vlog 😂 I definitely want to go do a more guided adventure there and the vegan restaurants and options look soooo good!
Bristol seems to be fully covered in graffiti! Interesting 😲 I def wouldn't feel safe going out at night either. Drunk rowdy teenagers are indeed very scary! 😂
