When i first saw the title on netflix and read the description i thpught this was just for the YA audience I am 72. One night i decided to give it a try. I immediately fell in love with it and have watched both seasons more than a dozen times each. When I need something to bring me love and joy i immediately go to heartstopper.
They are endgame canonically. The author confirmed that theirs is true love, and in Nick&Charlie novella, which happens when Nick graduates school and before he leaves for university, the boys decide not to break up, ever.
I love heartstopper so much it literally made me feel so confident, and even if people don't accept me for who I am I can always come back to these people and this cast

as someone who pays attention to body language, when i first watched all of season 1 & 2 (wasn’t interested in heartstopper when it first came out, but now im obsessed), you could definitely tell that nick leaned more towards charlie when they talked. which most of the time is a sign of a “crush” or a slight attraction. i LOVE how kit portrayed nick, and joe did a phenomenal job of showing charlie. 🫶

Gosh. I don't normally watch made on purpose "gay" film/series and I had never seen it, I have just watched now a trailer on TH-cam and it seems amazing! It seems not the usual characterisation of gay clitchees and stereotypes, but do you have to have Netflix to watch it?😭
Yes. But you can watch it all (both seasons) in just 8 hours, so you could cancel after one month. There might even still be a 1-month free trial. What you noticed was correct -- the usual cliches and other romantic tropes aren't there. Or rather, the tropes are all there but hardly any of them end up in the usual disappointing way. It's definitely worth your time.

He faints because of his ED. It’s because of the bullying so maybe he doesn’t eat because he is still suffering from that. It’s so cute how Nick comforts him and tries to help him through it!

A most enjoyable series two especially the Paris section. However, the story should proceed to more emotional periods, and kissing only and not responding naturally will mean difficult moments for young people hand holding the programme for their progress.
I think they're doing very well, actually. They're teenagers, after all. They're still learning, and the stuff they have to deal with is pretty huge, but they're doing it together.
