Let's keep things in perspective. This is the first game of the season. And every team depending on conference have all started differently due to the pandemic. Some teams are not even playing with their full starters. Some teams have had more practices than others ect...Also, K State wasn't considered to even make a bowl this year.
I wouldn't want to play the Sun Belt if I was just looking for a "warm up" game, etc. It seems the talent gap between a lot of these larger/smaller teams has gotten a lot closer.

Horrible loss for K-State Chris Klieman, the losses are pilling up? He needs to do a better job of roster building this is not North Dakota State where you can win with 2 stars players. I said last year they need to upgrade at the QB position. They should've gone through the transfer portal to get a QB. Georgia picked up Jt Daniels and Newman. This look like more of the same. Fair Defense and blow average offense for K-State.
This will definitely lose the Big-12 a shot at the playoff unless OK State goes undefeated. I know Big-Ten is likely to have a one loss team win the conference. So is SEC (Alabama or Auburn maybe) and ACC of course with Clemson, which is a fore gone conclusion in the ACC. PAC-12 will have a shot if Oregon does not blow it again and gets better from last year.
K-State deserved to lose today. They were overconfident, not mention having a patch supporting a group that has burned, looted and murdered in cities across the country.
